I haven't seen a picture showing a red lion as the symbol for hyrule, can someone put that up somewhere?

I haven't seen or heard anything that states this, actually. If someone has any more information on this, that'd be great, but I'm convinced enough that there's no evidence that I'm removing the claim from the article. --Ando (T) 17:05, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I can't say that just because the "T" in "The" isn't capitalized, it isn't part of the title. Doesn't make sense to me. I can't think of any instance in which the KoRL is referred to without "the". Heck, the figurine is "Link & the King of Red Lions". It's never said "yo sup King of Red Lions", it's always "The King of Red Lions". User:Ando/sig 19:41, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

That is a good point. But that word was not capitalized when I read it from the game. I do not have access to that camera I used for the Aroo, or what ever his name was, photo at this time. I never claimed that the "T" is capitalized anywhere within the game (outside of beginning a sentence), merely that the lack of capitalization doesn't mean that it is not part of the title ("name"?) of the character. User:Ando/sig 19:51, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I had no luck finding an image. But I did find an official source. It is on the encyclopedia of the official website. There is no "the" there to cause confusion. Also, in the Official Guide for the game, the name "King of Red Lions" is in italics and the word "the" before it is not.User:Matt/sig 20:24, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

They are both from Nintendo. That site is the official site made by Nintendo. The guide is the official guide from Nintendo. Here is what it says in the front cover: "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Player's Guide is printed in the USA and published by Nintendo of America Inc." It is from Nintendo. Okay, to solve this issue, I'm going to resort to logical reasoning. Upon recalling what my high school English teacher told me, I have reach the following conclusion:

The word "the" is the one and only definite article in the English language. Use of "the" before a proper noun of a place is dependent on the exact nature of the place. So "I'm going to the Alps." is acceptable, but "I'm going to the New York City." is not. "The" is generally not used before the proper name (which is a proper noun) of a person. When the noun is a title however, the word "the" is almost always used before it unless referring to the title itself rather than the person that it is given to. So the word "the" is not, and never is part of a title unless it is specifically stated to be otherwise.

So there you are. I really trust that teacher, so I'm sure that any dictionary will tell you something like that. So, "King of Red Lions" is a title. That is obvious. So that means that if we are to stick with proper grammar, then this article must be moved.User:Matt/sig 01:43, July 24, 2008 (UTC)
