Welcome to the Temple of Courage, where various characters from the Legend of Zelda series battle out on a semi-weekly basis! You, the people, are the deciding factors in these matches. Functionally, all of these battles are popularity contests and not "battles" as such. For instance, in a boss vs. boss fight, we suggest that you vote for the one you like the most rather than whether or not one enemy would beat another in a legit fight. This is only a suggestion, though.
If you have an account and have at least 50 mainspace edits, you can suggest a fight or vote or comment on others on the suggestions sub-article.
Rules
- You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in a competition between the two combatants that week.
- You may only vote once.
- If you are a user, please include your vote in the user section. If you are not a user, please include your vote in the anonymous section. However, any votes put in the anonymous sections will only count as a half vote.
- When a new fight is created (the process should take no longer than a week, give or take a couple of days), the votes from the last fight will be totaled and winner decided.
- Please sign your vote (unless you want to be counted as an anonymous vote) with a link to your username after your voting text.
- Don't try to rig the votes by entering multiple votes; these pages are regularly patrolled and you WILL face consequences if you are caught.
- A short notification must be made before changing the fight.
- Please don't use talk templates.
Week 125: Marin vs. Medli
In the light blue corner is the very maiden who found the shipwrecked hero on the shores of Koholint Island and brought him safely to her house. The hero initally mistakes his kind rescuer for the Princess of Destiny, but the two grow a mutual bond of affection regardless. She is a talented singer, having awoken the loser of last week's fight with her dulcet tones. Revealed to be a figment of the Wind Fish's imagination at the end of the game, she nonetheless appears to have fulfilled her dream of becoming a seagull in a secret ending scene. THIS. IS. MAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRIIIIIIIN!!! In the blue/gray corner is a young female Rito, and apprentice attendant to Valoo, patron Deity of the Rito people. She is a sensitive, caring, and brave person who aids the hero in calming down Valoo, restoring peace to Dragon Roost Island. Later, she is awakened as a descendant of the line of Earth Sages sworn to protect the Earth Temple, and safeguard the Master Sword's Power to Repel Evil. As a team, they brave the dangers of the Earth Temple, and together with the spirit of Medli's ancestor, they restore the Master Sword's power. THIS. IS. MEEEEEEEEEEEEDLIIIIIIIIII!!! And now, these two ladies will do battle in the ring, and we hope that none of them are hurt too bad. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRREAAAAAAAAAAADYYYYYYYY TO RUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Week 124: Rem vs. Walrus

In the reddish brown corner, we have a Hylian shoe maker. Our green-clad hero meets him after realizing he cannot cross the Castor Wilds. When our hero enters his shop, he falls straight asleep. The only way the hero can wake him is by using a foul-smelling wake-up mushroom. THIS. IS. RRRRRREMMMMMM!!! And in the blue corner is an enormous sleeping animal. He is blocking the path to Yarna Desert and the Animal Village, and our hero must get past him. In order to do so, he brings his charming feminine companion, Marin, to the animal's location, and she sings for him. After waking, he dances and falls into the ocean. THIS. IS. THE WAAAAALLLRRRRUSSSS!!! And so, while we wait for voting to start, we would like you to file into the stadium to watch these two contestants duke it out. Well, unless one of them falls asleep. In any case, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRREAAAAAAAADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!!

Peanut GalleryClose fight; who would imagine two narcoleptics would be so close? --Ricorum (talk) 18:13, November 18, 2010 (UTC) To be honest, I'm a bit surprised the walrus is getting so many votes. I mean, he doesn't actually do anything except get in your way. And anyway, most of the votes for him don't have to do with the character; just the fact that he's a walrus. Week 123: Link's Uncle vs. Rusl

In the pale green/teal/whatever-you-want-to-call-it corner, we have a man with a bushier mustache than the next one. He entrusts a sword and shield to use for defense to his nephew after being mortally wounded. THIS. IS. LIIIIIIINNNNNNNK'S UUUUUUUUNNNNNNNCLE!!! And in the rusted sword colored corner, we have a man who enjoys flying by Golden Cucco. Gets injured by a large warrior pig thing. And has a son! THIS. IS. RUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSL!!! So while we wait for this template to update itself, let's watch as these two mustached men battle it to the death... or at least till one gets injured... again. Peanut GalleryAnother fight with an early lead that I suspect to turn around soon. If Rusl does lose, I will be shocked. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 02:49, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
