Acro-Bandit vs. Hokbok

Orca, err, ACRO-Bandits. Multi-segmented type enemies, defeated by gradually removing the segments via weapons. Hokkubokkus Hokboks share these traits. They're also both encountered relatively rarely. Anyways, it's a suggestion, and I feel bad when the page is all lonely like this, yeah? --AuronKaizer! 23:31, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Gage vs. Makar

My 1st suggestion! Gage and Makar are both sages from the forest that play bow string instruments. The first time Link meets them, he has to travel through a notorious forest area (The Whittleton Chief warns Link of the Lost Woods and the Forbidden Woods says it all in the name). Gage and Makar then both need to play a duet with Link so he can enter a temple. They also both appear at the end of the game with the other sages.Rusl 33 (talk) 00:37, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Makar vs. Princess Ruto

I feel strange suggesting this with the other Makar fight, but it was my best idea for this week. They've both gone missing early in the game. They're both gulped down by some monster. You also have to navigate through a dungeon with them and luckily you can pick them up like boulders. They also both awaken as sages, of course. lunarChild 04:08, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Ingo vs. Gorman

My first go at this! One connection off the go, is that they both look identical. They both have 1 consel appearance, and 1 minor handheld appearance, and both handheld appearances are developed by capcom (MC, and OoS). Both have appeared greedy and mean, but soften up after Link does something, (Escape with Epona, play ballad of the wind fish), both work at a ranch (Oot, MM it's mentioned by his brothers), both have had a big, hmm...long term goal that suceeds (taking over the ranch, finally meeting Lulu) I don't think this is one sided cause MM and Oot get lots of praise, and MC and Oos get's some praise as well, and overall, both have equally as large of a roll if you look at an overview of the games they've been in. This is a little late, but I hope people vote! -Twilight Sheikah (talk) 05:15, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: This fight is ob(i)vious, since Gorman is Ingo's Terminan counterpart. -Isdrakthül 05:18, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: Uhh, yeah, you can't get much less original than pitting alternate selves against one another. With obvious exceptions like Twinrova, the majority of the characters in MM share basic core qualities with their OoT counterparts. Now, obviously the bit about TMC and OoS is a little unique and interesting to these characters, but the fight as a whole is just weird. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 08:14, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose:no. this is more unoriginal than my fight, which is intended as a joke because the characters are so similar.--Hylianhero777 (talk) 14:49, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: Love both characters, but in the entry for "ob(i)vious" in the Encyclopedia Couragica, this fight serves as illustration... --AuronKaizer! 16:33, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: Terminian counterpart versus other doesn't work well, usually. TheMidna Laughing 16:36, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Um, Hylianhero. I actually think your fight is worse than mine. Both are sort of obvious, but my two not only have diffrent, unique rolls in each of their appearances, but diffrent attitudes as well, Gorman in TMC is actually a bit diffrent from the usuall Ingo/Gorman. Ingo is alittle bit diffrent in Seasons too. And if they are counterparts, (which they have been once in Oot and MM) than how come Ingo is in Holodrum, and Gorman is in Hyrule? Plus, your two Linebecks have the exact same attitude, they are actually blood related, other than mine, and one plays a huge role while the oth plays a very minor role...don't go to other suggestions and start comparing them to yours, and start saying how better yours is...I don't find that very nice. I'm just defending my suggestion against yours now, because that was a little offensive, not a lot, but a little because your trying to show how much better yours is and make you feel better...at least it looks that way. Sorry, I'm rambling on, and no I'm not trying to change your opinion.-Twilight Sheikah (talk) 17:11, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Whoa. Calm down there buddy. Now, I can sort of see how you reached that conclusion (despite having never gone down that proverbial train of thought), but either way you need to chill. Yeah, yeah, I know you're "just defending [your] suggestion against [his]", but seriously...I seriously doubt Hylianhero meant it that way, just noting that this is extremely unoriginal, even compared to a fight where the combatants are intended to be similar that just so happens to be the one he himself suggested. Now, obviously you could interpret that as him flaming your suggestion, telling you his is better and soforth, but honestly nearly any criticism anybody gives you regarding this fight is going to be pertaining to its unoriginality and/or ob(i)viousness, because, well, that's the problem with it. Hylianhero just happened to note this by drawing a comparison to something we know is unoriginal. It wasn't necessarily intended to be offensive or to compare his fight to yours. 'Course, I really don't have room to speak for him or anything and all this is purely based on my perception of the issue, so if he suddenly comes out with an "actually, I realized I was being rude and said it anyway for the sake of the comment", then, uhh, you can ignore everything I just said. But, well, honestly I don't see it that way. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 07:26, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: I'm sorry. I wrote that at 3 in the morning, after a long day. I guess it was a bit much, but I was a little tired, maybe more than a little. It just felt like he said his was a joke, and mine was worse than his (basically, worse than a joke) that got me a little upset, cause it was my first try and it wasn't meant to be a joke... see where I'm coming from? Sorry. I've thought of a better one for next week, that isn't obvious, and is much more original. -TwilightSheikah 08:18, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
