Your Sig
Hello, and welcome to Zelda Wiki! Always nice to see new contributors. There's just one thing I need to ask of you, and that's for you to check out our policy on custom signatures. As is, your signature places a lot of coding in talk pages, and it makes the edit view look very messy. I'd like for you to please follow our guidelines for custom sigs which are outlined in the page that I linked.

- Thanks! But I thought since my sig is a template the only thing which shows up is the user sig thing {{}} and the time. File:Dekusprout.png

- For the signature to be transcluded as a template, you have to use method 2. This isn't mentioned on the signatures page (although it should be; I'll be sure to get around to it when I have the chance), but for big signatures like yours we'd really prefer users use method two.
- All you have to do is create a second page called User:Deku Tree Sprout/sig2 and type this in it:
{{:Deku Tree Sprout/sig}}
- Then in your preferences you would type the following in the signature box:
{{subst:Deku Tree Sprout/sig2}}
- That's all there is to it! :)
- One more thing: images, even small ones, are against our signature rules. I'm afraid we have to ask you to remove it. — Hylian King [*] 20:43, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- EDIT:Oops, my mistake. You need to type "User" before your name. So it would be {{:User:Deku Tree Sprout/sig}} and {{subst:User:Deku Tree Sprout/sig2}}. My bad! — Hylian King [*] 10:27, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
