Goht vs. Stallord

I admit there isnt much these 2 have in common but there pretty popular bosses and possibly the best in Zelda history so I thought it would be interestingDarkest-Link123 23:21, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Pictogram voting oppose Oppose:Goht is no where near as popular as Stallord (at least I don't think it is.) --Moblin Slayer(Working on it...) 00:12, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: Stallord will permit an act that is punishable by law on Goht if this fight happens. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 01:13, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting neutral Neutral: There's no way this will fly because Stallord has so much more support going for it. I found both of these boss battles fun though, but there's really no denying that Stallord's fight was better. Portal-Kombat
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose:I would vote for Goht but I would probally be one of the few. Metroidhunter32 01:31, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: You need more simalarities than that. I would vote for Goht as well. He's just a misunderstood frozen ram who was named coincidentally. Stallord was kind of annoying for me. Mrs.MikauShadLink 04:12, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: Random, uninteresting, one-sided....basically a bad fight no matter how you look at it. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:32, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose:No, sorry --EveryDayJoe45 23:23, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting support Support: I'm voting yes because both were fun! That's why I liked Majora's Mask better than Twilight Princess: the bosses were more of an emphasis on fun and battle. In TP the bosses were much more combat-intensive and also a lot easier (although Fyrus, Morpheel, Armogohma, Argorok and all 4 final battle stages were fun). --Big Poe=Nice Guy 21:48, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: You said it yourself, they don't have much in common. Oddball464 17:18, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting neutral Neutral: There is two similarities which i can find: First: both are fun, Second: you go round and round and round on both. Hevehoc 4:25 PM 4 April (CET)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: That's a matter of opinion; you could say that every boss is fun in somebody's opinion. Second similarity is a good point, but it's really not enough to make it interesting. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:33, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: personly dont like either and i think this will just become twilight princess v phantom hourglass since they are more or less the same Oni Dark Link 17:48, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Cannon is from Wind Waker. Eddo is the one from Phantom Hourglass. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 20:49, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Well, I suppose a broader way of defining this is Twilight Princess vs. Cel-Shaded games, but fortunately these are minor characters we're talking about, and game vs. game conflicts seem more inherent in major characters. Portal-Kombat
Pictogram voting comment Comment: I have to disagree with major characters you have something to actually judge. With minor characters they put so Lil effect on you which makes you care very little for which character is the best that it comes to a game vs game.Darkest-Link123 03:35, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Not true at all. As I have said time and time again, it's not the obscure characters that start game vs. game fights, but the characters that have so little difference that they may as well be the same character, just with a different name, appearance, and game. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 05:15, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment:That is also true but look at WW Ganondorf and Zant, both bad until the end when the go soft, ya pretty similar but they were both pretty big and had different battles which could make me lean in one direction Darkest-Link123 00:28, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: A little off topic, but how did either of them go soft? Zant didn't really go soft, he just went insane. And I don't think it's really true to say that WW Ganondorf went soft. Sure he tells you why he wants Hyrule and how he had the worst life ever, but then he turns around and FALCON PUNCHes Link in the face, then tries to cut him apart with swords. Not really a mister nice guy. Portal-Kombat
Pictogram voting comment Comment: When I say soft I mean they actually explained why they were crazy jerks, it may not ease the pain but still I'd rather know why someone is hitting me instead of having some middle aged man just up and punch me in the faceDarkest-Link123 03:12, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: Uh, no. By the way portal, it's a warlock punch. Solar flute

Pictogram voting support Support: This wins just for the everyone loses factor Twilitlink 22:59, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: While a temple vs. temple fight, if done correctly, could be awesome, I am going to have to oppose this because my hatred for Zelda II knows no bounds. The Water Temple frustrated people because of devilishly excellent design, but Zelda II frustrated me due to BAD design, overall it's just a terrible game. Portal-Kombat
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: I'm not going to say anything about my personal opinion, but I think it's generally accepted that people disilike Zelda II way more than the Water Temple. Also, just out of curiosity, would we be voting for the one we found more annoying or less annoying? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:32, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Pictogram voting comment Comment: So long as cartridges of the game exist in this world, Zelda II will never rest... IT MUST BE STOPPED! Portal-Kombat
Pictogram voting comment Comment: I did my part. Both deleted my ROM image and carefully used a pin to scratch the exact area of the underside of my Collector's Edition disc where Zelda II is stored. Also, bought some of my friends' old NES cartridges only to make a nice little bonfire. It's just like Freddy Krueger; when everybody has forgotten about its existence, the evil will stop haunting us in our dreams. --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 20:20, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Tell me where that spot on the Collector's Edition disc is so I may be rid of its evil. Zelda II is so awful, it gathers far superior Zelda games around them and uses them as shields! Portal-Kombat
Pictogram voting support Support: Its ehh, and way to opinionated in the description... but its something new that I've seen so sure why not. --EveryDayJoe45 23:24, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting support Support: This just seems to be okay. Also, although some of you may find it hard to believe this, I think I would vote for Water Temple, at least Zelda II doesn't have a fatal glitch that first-time players will inevitably suffer. Also to Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv I think we're deciding which one is more annoying/hard-as-Hell. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 21:42, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting oppose Oppose: A better match would be irritating water level vs irritating water level. Maybe Water Temple (OoT) vs Jabu Jabu's Belly (OoA), since they were both about changing water levels and involved all that backtracking.
Pictogram voting comment Comment: I think the only thing wrong with Zelda II is it's too hard for you kids. McJeff 01:36, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: No, the problem is that it is among the most unentertaining, unenjoyable pieces of trash ever released on a game cartridge. I ain't a masochist... --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 01:39, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Pictogram voting comment Comment: just because something is hard doesnt mean its not good. zelda ii is one of my favorite zelda games. certainly better then four swords adventure and phantom hour glass. and all lot of you seem to hate it when you havnt really played it Oni Dark Link 21:42, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Oh god, this is why I don't want this fight to happen. First, AuronKaizer, Portal-Kombat, and all the other people that hate Zelda II insult it....then Oni Dark Link defends it and in turn insults Four Swords Adventures and Phantom Hourglass....then the people that like Four Swords Adventures and Phantom Hourglass will defend it and in turn insult Zelda II and quite possibly some other games....then a full-out argument breaks out. Also, Oni Dark Link, not everybody dislikes Zelda II because it's "hard" per se. I certainly don't. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:25, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Pictogram voting comment Comment: yes in my opinion. Oni Dark Link 22:31, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Pictogram voting comment Comment: To say that a game is superior to another game is to say that the latter game is inferior; by singling that game in particular out, you are implying that you think that it's worse than other games as well. Also Queen Gohma was too easy which would end in a landslide victory for Diababa. Also I think I would have different thoughts if it was TWW Gohma. And only last thing: Odolwa vs. Diababa would be a much better fight. Big Poe=Nice Guy
Pictogram voting comment Comment: Um, but then there would be almost no connection. The only similarity is that they're both first bosses. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 22:20, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

People are sincerely disagreeing with me about the difficulty range with MM, OoT and TP. Let me put it this way: 1. I'm talking about the mandatory things. The side-quests also count to an extent and also there were some parts in TP that did get me stumped for a good couple minutes (e.g. the Chilfos Army in Snowpeak Ruins). 2. When I say difficult I don't mean hard overall. What I mean is how the game increases difficulty. I prefer games that steadily increase difficulty rather than just jumping difficulty levels out of the blue. This is why I prefer Majora's Mask. It slowly increases difficulty levels but with Ocarina of Time it just makes it easy (to a certain extent anyway) during child Link and then hard-as-Hell (once again to a certain but extreme extent) when you're adult Link. 3. The hardest part of Majora's Mask is undoubtedly Ikana Well. The hardest part of Ocarina of Time is undoubtedly the Water Temple. Now during the first go-through of the respective games which would you say took you longer separately? The Water Temple of course! That's the part I'm talking about: the range of difficulty, not difficulty overall. Oh and by the way OoT is still difficult overall since the only parts I could beat easily with no outside help whatsoever (there were some parts I did but took me a long time) were everything in Child Link, the Fire Temple, the Ice Caverns, crossing the Haunted Wasteland, Child Link's portion of the Spirit Temple and the battles against Phantom Ganon, Morpha, Stalofses, Falre Dancer, Dead Hand, Bongo Bongo, Twinrova, Dinofols and Ganon. --Big Poe=Nice Guy 23:17, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

You do realize that difficulty is a relative thing, right? --AuronKaizer(...Kaizer!) 23:34, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. For instance I had great difficulty Dark Link in OoT but found Majora's Wrath from MM shamefully easy. Everyone has dificulty on different things. Metroidhunter32 00:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Of course he doesn't. Big Poe=Nice Guy has proven time and time again that he has no sense of relativity. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 01:36, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
