Golden Goddesses
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! Welcome to the bone-crushing 149th battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRAGE!!! This week's brawl features two almighty groups of deities and supposed creators of their specific regions. Let's meet them in the ring.

In the orange corner is a collection of four all-powerful giant guardians of Termina. Eons before our hero's quest to the land, they lived in harmony with the people of Termina. If the people were ever to require their aid, it was said that they need only play the "Oath to Order" to call upon their help. Hailing from the four corners of the lands, THESE. ARE. THE FOUUUUUUUUUUR GIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTS!

In the gold corner we have the three great creators of the land of Hyrule. It is said that these mystic goddesses each had a part in the land's creation: the first created the red earth, the second gave the world the spirit of law, and the third, the people themselves, to uphold the law. As they returned to the heavens from whence they came, they left the purest manifestation of their power, the Triforce, behind. From the highest point in the heavens, THESE. ARE. THE GOOOOOOOOOOOLDEN GODDESSES!

Which of these powers that be will win in an ultimate duel? Hold on to hats and perhaps more importantly, your seats, and LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Four Giants

1. I'm currently on a Majora's Mask kick. And it is my favourite game in the series. I'm going to have to go with the Four Giants. – zzi 23:46, September 1, 2011 (UTC)
2. The Four Giants actually do something to help their world when Majora threatens to destroy it. The Golden Goddesses rarely intervene for anything, and when they do, you have to wonder if the people would have better off if they hadn't. *cough*Great Flood*cough* Jedimasterlink (talk) 00:52, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
3. Four Giants are cooler, plus I'm playing through Majora's Mask like Jazzi. Also, Oath to Order is an awesome song name. -Minish Link 00:54, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
4. They don't leave magical superweapons lying around. It's just untidy and it can lead to the end of the universe. -Isdrakthül 03:29, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
5. More mysterious, and actually do seem to care a little about the world they guard and protect unlike certain sadistic goddesses over there. --AuronKaizer! 07:18, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
6. MM>Every other LoZ game. Other than that, they actually help the people they created, rather than leave and not do anything when the land is almost destroyed, other than 1. split up the super weapon they left into three pieces or 2. flood the world they made. Ike 00:04, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
7. The Goddesses, through their creation of the Triforce, are responsible for more death and destruction than anyone else in the Zelda universe. Nintendo the Goddesses are also annoyingly inconsistent (Twili? BANNED. Ganon? Nah, he's cool.). The Giants are more down to earth, yet still mysterious, help the people and even lived among them for a time, and have some actual character. They even have a friend, and forgive him despite the trouble he apparently caused in the past (of his own free will, not even counting what the mask made him do). The Giants are a more rational approach to deities than the classic all-powerful-but-largely-indifferent fantasy gods, yet they don't lose any of the epicness or mystery.--FierceDeku 18:10, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
8. Majora's Mask's approach on gaming is so fresh and original that the depiction of the superior deities couldn't be an exception, showing them as mysterious beings with great deepness to them. The Four Giants are just so raw and captivating characters, guarding their creations from (awesome) locations across the world instead of above them, in a somehow cruel manner, letting them succumb to their own weaknesses. In a deep analysis, they make us question ourselves about where divine power truly is: up in the sky invisible for us or down here in our world and inside each of us. Trill&Plumm 3:11, September 7, 2001 (UTC)
9. They're epic. User:Coolkat100 13:35, September 18, 2011 (UTC)
10. The giants rock. --Ricorum (talk) 23:07, September 22, 2011 (UTC)--

12. LOVE the oath to order :) + giants stopping a moon from crashing are awsome. --Yorick141 (talk) 19:54, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

1. The Four Giants are in the greatest Zelda game of all time. Plus, they stopped the moon. The goddesses have never done anything to help Link. (Before you mention light arrows in Twilight Princess, the Light Spirits did that, not the goddesses.)
2. the giants would win 'cuz there are 4 and there are 3 goddesses, ergo, the giants would win in a battle between the 2 (in my opinion anyway) also the giants are actually on the earth not, well, who knows where the goddesses are. I like the giants better end of story good by period.
3. Maybe its just because the goddesses are featured in so many more Zelda games but I think the Four Giants have a lot more character. The goddesses never even show up in-game besides flashbacks!
4. The four giants are cooler then the golden goddesses i guess.
5. The four giants have to be called are awesome and love there theme!!!
6. Ever thought that maybe it was the goddesses in the first place who put Termina in its state? Four Giants are tragic heroes. Goddesses are arrogant princesses.
7. Swamp. Mountain. Ocean. Canyon. The four who are there...bring them here. Call them to order. Lay peace to a town in distrust. Lay good to a world destined to end. And with that, a young boy called four great heroes, and a world destined to end became a world destined to be saved. With that, a young distrustful imp regained the friendships of four titans. With that, peace returned to an isolated world. Thank you, Four Giants. The goddesses of Hyrule flooded Hyrule. Gee, thanks, Goddesses.
8. The four gaints have a awsome theme and they actually do something and stuff.

Votes for Golden Goddesses

1. Way more vital to the series and the voices of the Four Giants annoyed me. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 03:05, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
2. The Golden Goddesses are awesome i mean they created all of Hyrule and they basically made Triforce exist so they got my vote besides all the four giants did was make the moon stop from falling boring. LoZSuperFan1
3. I vote for the all powerful world creating aliens over a group of Giants who can't even defend themselves against a kid wearing a mask. Oni Dark Link 10:22, September 2, 2011 (UTC)
4. Well, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Majora's Mask, and the Godesses are just much cooler. Peeeekay.... Gaming! (talk) 08:38, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
5. The Godesses created Hyrule, so for me it is a clear choice. --Elfpixieprincess
6. one they created Hyrule! two they left behind the friekin triforce the main focus of most of the games! three I've always found the giants really awkward I mean they're spheres with legs and mustaches wth?Devdude (talk)
7. Meh, I like Ocarina of time better. I just hate that 3 day period. --Amythistfire (talk) 00:05, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
8. Not really sure who the Golden Goddesses are, but they look cool! BlueLink.jpg Blue Link BlueLink.jpg 14:15, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
9. I agree with Amythistfire. Besides, all the Giants ever do is hold up a giant creepy moon. Sure, they're there to help Termina whenever, but when the only person who can call them is a guy who's not even a resident of Termina, they're doing it wrong. --Corfid Bizna
10. I have to go with the Goddesses not only because I think they are the more powerful divine beings, and because they created the world as a whole. It's also because of a theory I've read, that I think is really plausible. It states that, because the giants had such an active role in early Terminian society, that the people eventually became so dependent on them that they began to shun the Goddesses. This shunning eventually lead to disdain and the people eventually attempted to create a tower to the heavens (Stone Tower) to slay the Goddesses using the Giants Mask. This plan ultimately failed, and the result was their accidental unleashing of Majora into the world. This is just the gist of the theory. It would take far to long to explain it here but you can find it elsewhere. Regardless, this theory is the reason I'm more for the Goddesses... because the reason they DON'T directly involve themselves with mortals is because catastrophic things like this could happen if they do. --ShiningwingX
11. I vote for the goddesses. They're the best of the best, the bee's knees. I mean, they created Hyrule!—Preceding unsigned comment added by Skyward Swordsman (talkcontribs)
12. If you know anything about Termina, the Giants didn't create Termina. or the races. Termina was created as a parallel universe when Hyrule was created...BY THE GODDESSES. The Godesses created both lands, AND the Triforce and Light Force. They easily win.--Wolf Link89 (talk) 00:39, September 25, 2011 (UTC)
13. I agree with Wolf Link89, and to the people who are griping about how the goddesses never do anything to help Hyrule, firstly, one big thing here is to show that some of the greatest powers are things as simple as courage and cunning, and on a more practical note, don't you think that the goddesses might be preoccupied with more pressing matters? Or do you happen to have the ability to see onto other planes of existence and notice that they're just sitting around getting manicures? After all, if they created Hyrule and Termina, don't you think that maybe they created other unverses in which things are transpiring which may affect all possible unverses, dimensions, and/or planes of existence, or at least more than just one piddly little one that you could walk across in five days? And everyone's so hung up on the fact that the giants helped out Termina so much, when all they really did was hold up a moon, which is no big feat when you're fifty feet tall and extremely strong. It's not like they seriously improved the lives of anyone. You'd think that they would at least stick around and help out with some problems, like, oh, say, the girl who gets abducted by aliens yearly, since they're so benevolent and all. NilkadNaquada
14. This should be a pretty easy win for the Godesses . The Giants don't stand much of a chance against the creators of the triforce huh .--User:Brainoutboy
15. I love both Oot and MM, but the Golden Goddesses are just... more awesome. I mean, they created Hyrule and the Triforce, and are WAY more important to the games than the Giants. Go Goddesses!!! --Xgamer92 (talk) 16:56, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

1. They are way more vital to the series.
2. Din for the win! Nayru all the way-ru! Farore beats the four!! Besides, if it wern't for the triforce, (more specificaly, Ganondorf's lust for its power), Link probably would have lived in kokiri forest until everyone knew he was hylian, and then he'd probably be kicked out.
3. a) The goddesses are awesome. I mean, they're GODDESSES. You just can't beat that. b) something about the four giants freaks me out a little. 'Nuff said.
4. The Goddessess would annighalate the giants.. Besides, I'm not voting for four red naked men with strange heads..
5. the golden goddesses have oracles named after them. The giants don't even have names. whats up with that?
6. Honestly?!? The goddesses created Hyrule! I'm not even sure what the giants do.
7. One word: Triforce.
8. Godesses for the win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9. I'm just gonna put this out there: all these people voting for the giants keep saying that they were more benevolent beings and cared more about the people of Termina than the Goddesses cared for Hyrule. Now I'm new to the Temple of Courage, but isn't this supposed to be a sort of "fight", like a "who would win?" scenario. If this were a personality contest then the Giants would have a good case, but if this is an actual "battle" taking place, then theres no way the giants can stand up to the goddesses. Its in the name: "giant" and GODDESS!!! A guardian spirit of a country can't stand up in a fight against the creating spirits of the world.
10. The giants have some sort of prepositional issue they need to see their doctors about. They also need to learn about something called exercise. Four 'tough' giant guys can barely lift up the moon, while three dainty, magical ladies can create the world and a superpower force that grant wishes? I think I'm sold.
11. I just think the goddesses are cool.
12. I don't even see how this is a contest. The Goddesses are an omnicient force, and as such could utterly destroy anything they so wished to. The Giants lack names, and all they did was stop the moon (Don't get me wrong, that's impressive in it's own right), but the Goddesses could have just looked in it's general direction and stopped it with a thought. Do I even have to mention that they created the Triforce?
13. Okay so the giants stopped the moon, the goddesses could probably destroy the moon
14. The Golden Goddesses let me have an awesome time playing Dead Man's Volley with Ganondorf before stabbing and shooting him to death, then blow up his castle when I was still inside, then kill him again, instead of popping up at the last second, stopping the disaster themselves and stealing all the glory. I don't see why the Four Giants thought that little kid version of Link would have such a problem putting a giant crazy face moon back into orbit when he killed 50 billion gigantor boss monsters just to be the Giants' alarm clock, I'm surprised Link didn't get an inferiority complex thanks to their lack of faith. Link had to fix the moon himself without them when the Skull Kid tried to crash it into Termina again anyway. As a final note the Goddesses are made of golden shiny glowy flying gold, while the Giant's are creepy clods of dirt that have been sleeping so long that there's grass growing on them XD
15. They created the Triforce. Nuff' said.
16. I think the Golden Goddesses RULE!!!! They have my vote! :)

Loving the irony in the color choices. Jedimasterlink (talk) 07:52, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

Hehe, yeah, we all know who the "yeller" gods are... --AuronKaizer! 09:25, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

I was going to say something about the actual colors and what it said they were in the intro, but someone changed it.

The ultimate battle. I hoped to see this someday.

There is currently 1 suggestion for another fight, and while it has 3 opposes and nothing else, it's a fight, and this has gone on for 2+ weeks and is becoming progressively less close. If there are no objections or other fight suggestions, I'll change out the fight in a few days or so.--FierceDeku 19:01, September 17, 2011 (UTC)

In response to the vote talking about the ToC being representative of actual battles between the contenders, it's really optional whether or not you want to vote based on that. It's sort of spun that way but I think at this point most everyone is voting simply for the one they like better. I can say with certainty that in the ToC suggestion page, whether the "fight" is balanced were it an actual battle has not been considered for a long time if ever, while attention is paid to fights that are potentially very well balanced or very imbalanced in terms of who would win in a popularity contest.--FierceDeku 04:05, September 18, 2011 (UTC)

The rules say to vote based on who is your favorite or who would win in a contest. Nearly all of the time, people do the first of these, and it's been that way for longer than I can remember. Jedimasterlink (talk) 05:33, September 18, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I have to respond to the vote that claims the Giants didn't create Termina. First off, it says in the description "supposed creators", so we're covered even if you do find it debatable. Second, we hear from Anju's Grandmother's telling of the "Four Giants" story that "The imp was a friend of the giants since before they had created the four worlds.". The "Four Worlds" is another way of saying Termina, and is even applied to the era when all the people and the Giants lived together (instead of being divided). The fabric of existence that is the Terminan dimension, as well as its equivalency to Hyrule, was possibly a result of the Goddesses' powers, but the land of Termina as we know it now was indeed created by the Four Giants.--FierceDeku 05:56, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

And I thought last fight was long. How long has this been on for, a month? Not complaining, just saying.

For a while there was only one suggestion for the next fight, and it wasn't popular. Just before the fight was changed anyway, some new suggestions came in. The next fight getting decided is just taking a while.--FierceDeku 01:37, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, thanks a lot!

When is the battle going to change? battles are suppose to go on for one week this one has gone on for over 5 weeks and for the past 2 and a half weeks Lulu vs. Rosa has by far been the best suggestion. User:Coolkat100 14:08, October 9, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I would change it, but 1. I don't know how and 2. I'm an IP. If anyone knows how to change the fight, then please do.

I'm voting for the goddess' FTW, they created the triforce. the people who voted for the giants probably haven't even played OOT, one of the best games of all time. the giants vs the goddess' is like saying a wrestler vs' God.

Week 148: Armogohma vs. Morpheel

14 > 12
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! Welcome to the 148th battle in the one and only TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRAGE!!! This week, a colossal clash between two titanic twilit terrors! These new forms of classic bosses will summon an army of minions in their quest to poke out each other's eye!

In the Temple of Time's distant past lurks the first incarnation of the armored arachnid to actually have the right number of legs to be considered an arachnid. Wielding its flaming death ray and using its own offspring as a distraction, THIS. IS. ARMOOOOGOHMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Deep inside Lakebed Temple an eye emerges within a strange tentacle. Oh, could that be Morpha? NO! There's a giant monstrous eel attached to it! Attacking with its deadly tentacles and army of Bomb Fish, THIS. IS. MOOOORRRPHEEEEEEEEEEEEL!!!

Will Armogohma be drowned in defeat or will Morpheel be blown out of the water? Only one thing is certain: It's all fun and games now, but somebody's going to lose an eye! LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Armogohma

1. Armogohma is a spider. Boris is a spider. Do the math. --AuronKaizer! 22:36, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

1. I like both of the bosses, but swimming in TP is a pain in the butt. Armoghoma FTW!!!
2. It has a f'ing eye on its back! Morpheel doesn't even have eyes! Besides, spiders own anyways
3. I never understood why people never vote for armogohma (or hardly) and I probably never will.. I loved this boss battle, though it was quite easy.. I mean, smacking a giant spider-thingy with a gigantic fist!! Who cannot love that? Morpheel was annoying..
4. I just hate TP, because my friend have it and he always bothers me with it!
5. I'm just a Gohma fan. She's like my favorite boss.
6. Heh. It's a spider. Must I explain?
7. ARMOGOHMA is like the best boss ever!!!! I mean shure it wasn't the hardest or anything, but come on, You kill it by smashing it with a huge possessed statue thingy!!!!!! And it lives in one of the coolest temples ever!!! And it's a Zelda classic, realy, ghomas are awesome!!!Also it just looks down right EPIC!!!!
8. I'm surprised Morpheel is ahead! He is a remake of Morpha! While Armogohma is more original! COME ON PEOPLE!
9. Spider!!!!!!!!!
10. Two spiders in one! Man, the stupid little eye running around was a real pain o kill, so I'm going for the annoying one.
11. I'm surprised Morpheel is ahead! He is a remake of Morpha! While Armogohma is more original! COME ON PEOPLE!

Votes for Morpheel

1. Morpheel is a lot cooler in my opinion. Argharmor over there seems like just another spider. TheMask-Mimic 03:28, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
2. Going to have to go with Morpheel. See, while I hated Lakebed Temple and loved the Temple of Time, I thought Armogohma was...well, I was neutral to it, while I actually enjoyed the Morpheel boss fight (for some reason. I don't think I've figured it out yet). So the eyeball with an eel attached to it gets my vote. -Minish Link 03:35, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
3. In retrospect, I can't say that the Morpheel battle was objectively all that much better than the Armogohma one, but at the time I enjoyed Morpheel a lot more. It was a cool sort of reimagining of the Morpha concept, and just felt epic and scary (giant things deep under water freak me out). I remember finding Armogohma disappointing, the Dominion Rod use there was very simple and the battle in general was particularly short and easy (even for TP). Also I just find it less unique than other forms of Gohma since it's just sort of a spider, whereas Morpheel is very distinctive.--FierceDeku 07:21, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
4. Armogohma may have been an interesting fight but it was a complete joke Morpheel actually had some challenge to itDevdude (talk) 19:05, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
5. It had a more interesting and unique design, by which I mean a design that was interesting and unique at all. Oh, and a 3-year-old could beat Armogohma blindfolded and asleep with both hands tied behind his back, as well as any cliches about things being really easy to beat that I missed. -Isdrakthül 07:53, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
6. Armogohma was a complete joke of a boss. I liked smashing him with a fist, but they could have done a whole lot better using the Dominion Rod in that fight. Also, the swimming fight where you are chasing Morpheel around stabbing him in his eye-thing is epic. User:phoenixflight35192
7. Morpheel gave me more trouble than Armogohma. Still kind of torn on who to vote for. But yeah, this one gave me more trouble in a temple that gave me more trouble. – zzi 19:34, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
8. Spiders scare the crap out of me. — Blaze fire12 (talk) 20:06, August 27, 2011 (UTC)
9. Well, its one of the few bosses in TP I genuinely enjoyed. And its pretty original, unlike Armogohma. It gets my vote. Peeeekay.... Gaming! (talk) 05:14, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
10. I'm not really a fan of either fights, but Morpheel was more of a spectacle to watch then Armogohma. --Nevermind0309 (talk) 23:11, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

1. I actually can't really remember either fight but I'm voting for this guy because he seems cooler and, in my opinion, has a better design.
2. I vote the eye with the monstous eel attatched because he's got a better design than Armogohma.Plus,he hasn't been in every Zelda game known to man is some way...Go Morpheel!!!
3. Unlike the bosses of the 3rd dungeons in the other Zelda games I've played, Morpheel is actually NOT a complete pain in the butt.
4. Anything that can freak me out as much as Morpheel did deserves to win.

1. umm... i don't know... subrosians came first or something?
2. Both are about as ugly as ugly gets. But Subrosians are less ugly.
3. I never actually player OoS, but I like subrosians better that the Anouki. (I think I spelled that wrong.)
4. these guys got currency, anouki got no money
5. Subrosians just plain rule. And even cooler they sing and dance!
6. Though I haven't played the oracle games, I didn't like the Anouki very much..
7. They just look cute to me. Is that wrong?
8. Subrosians are cute. And they remind me of like, Martin the Martian or something
9. Sorry Anouki your not as awesome. In an actual fight all you could really do is sneeeze.

On Tuesday (23rd) at ~13:00 wikia time, this fight will have been up for a full week. Since there's a successor lined up and this fight turned out to be more imbalanced than a Zerg rush composed of Meta Knights wearing Fierce Deity's Masks, I'll go ahead and make the swap then if there are no objections. I don't have to be the one to change it or anything I'm just saying I think this is ready to move along after the minimum week and I can do it if no one else does.--FierceDeku 06:31, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, not many fights have been more unbalanced than this. And I'd rather not think about how long it's been since we got a fight switched out on time. Jedimasterlink (talk) 06:36, August 21, 2011 (UTC)

I can't believe how badly beat Anouki is it's currently 1.5 to 15. User:Coolkat100 12:32 August 21, 2011 (UTC)

Week 146: Bombchu vs. Remote Bomb

Bombchu (Ocarina of Time)
Bombchu (Ocarina of Time)

21.5 > 12.5
Remote Bomb
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! Welcome to the 146th battle in the one and only TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRAGE!!! This week's explosive match-up is between two volatile variations of the common bomb. Their informational patent sheets will be read accordingly:

In the blue corner is a mobile bomb that bears the likeness of a Japanese bootleg Batman mouse toy from the 1980s. They have the ability to traverse walls and small holes, allowing them to go boldly go where normal bombs have not (and indeed, cannot) gone before; however, they are for the most part only available at certain retailers for ludicrously high prices. THIS. IS. THE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMBCHUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

In the grey corner is a Minish innovation: a fuseless bomb that may be exploded when its user gives the order on their (unseen) remote control that inexplicably exists in a quasi-medieval setting, allowing them to use bombs in battle more reliably. For some reason, these bombs and regular bombs cannot be carried at the same time. THIS. IS. THE REMOOOOOOOOOOOOOTE BOOOOOOOOOOOOMB!!!

Which of them will withstand the mighty explosion that will surely occur when these two combustible elements collide? This decision is left up to you voters (we still have not figured out how your votes affect their explosive powers, but just go with it). So make with the clicking! And without further ado, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Bombchu

1. I've just always liked Bomchus. They were fun to blow things up with. TheMask-Mimic 15:27, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
2. You'd have to be insane not to vote for Bombchus. --zzi 17:21, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
3. Bombchu Bowling Alley is my favourite Zelda thing ever. DoctorPain99 (contribs) 21:39, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
4. A very interesting and versatile objectUser:Trill&Plumm 1:59, July 24, 2011 (UTC)
5. Bombchus are awesome!Stalchild21
6. You can't deny how satisfying it is to blow up stuff in obscure places. I never had too much trouble with the Bombchu Bowling Alley, anyway. Jedimasterlink (talk) 23:24, July 26, 2011 (UTC)
7. I love bombchus! Even though they were the reason I couldn't beat Ocarina of Time! And even though I had trouble with the bombchu bowling alley! I still love them!!! Go bombchus!!!!!!! --Xgamer92 (talk) 05:24, August 1, 2011 (UTC)

1. Teh bombz go boom. Teh bombchus go squiggle squiggle squiggle boom!
2. the cheese says: What he/she said!!!!
3. Bombchus.
4. Two reasons; they're based off a race of mice that blow themselves up... And roam and accursed valley, which is badass... also, remote bombs are nearly as fanciful... I wish they were half as awesome... They're timed bombs... These fellas sometimes have a mind of their own, and they mean business!
5. Bombchus are annoying as heck to aim, but for some reason, I just love them!
6. Tey are teh bestest splodies evers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!
7. They look like mice. More adorable=Better.
8. They are bombs that look like mice and they scurry around and climb up walls and through holes...can a remote control bomb do that? No, all it can do is choose when to blow up.
9. Bombchu has another 1/2 vOte!
10. Bombchu's are so fun!
11. Bombs in super fast mouse version. Speedy gonzales bombs. And remote bombs are well...stupid. At least when compared to Bombchus. People you know im right!!
12. . First of all, bombchu bowling is AWESOME!!! You can blow up giant chickens AND win epic stuff! And also, they're just FUN TO USE! Unlike stupid remote bombs...
13. bombchus are cool. you knnow what i'm saying?
14. Bombchus are more useful
15. Bombchus are magic. How has technology been invented yet?
16. Bombchus are frickin' mice and go walk on quicksand
17. Bombchus are used in ganon's castle while remote bombs are optional
18. Bombchus can go upside down. Can remote bombs do that?!
19. Bombchu bowling alley. I need not say more.
20. What even is a remote bomb? Bombchus all the way :D and Bombchu Bowling is indeed awesome.
21. Bombchus are infinately better. You can tell a Bombchu where to go and it goes, and a Remote Bomb just sits there staring at you until you mess up and it blows up in your face. OUCH. Remote Bombs have no clue what they're doing while Bombchus do. Animate vs. Inanimate= No match. Animate wins. Random comment: The Remote Bomb picture is really bad. When I first saw it I thought it was a gray potion- whatever that is.

Votes for Remote Bomb

2. despite the fact I didn't remember these before I read the article I'm going here mostly because the bombchu bowling ally really annoyed me as a kid Devdude (talk) 02:01, July 24, 2011 (UTC)
3. I've been saying for a long time now that remote bombs are one of the things I want to see in future Zelda games. We need more remote bombs! Oni Dark Link 00:22, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
4. I say remote bombs are da bomb. --/_WhiteKnight5_\ 02:04, July 25, 2011 (UTC)Squadguy
5. Awesome innovation in LoZ explosives. Hope we'll see these around again. They should make it so that you can set like 3-4 at a time. Boomerangman (talk) 08:35, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
6. Agreed with Oni. Remote Bombs were really, really handy, and while Bombchus were neat and everything, I often had a hard time getting them to go where they were supposed to. -Minish Link 14:12, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
7. Like people have been saying, Bombhu never seem to go where I want and I can never use them except in puzzles specifically designed to need them, while remote bombs are something I've always wished they'd add to every Zelda game since they appeared. Remote Bombs are almost the only time I bother to use bombs when it's not absolutely necessary, and finding helpful ways to use your items (beyond what the game requires you to do with them) is one of the coolest things about Zelda.--FierceDeku 15:15, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
8. I've never played minish cap but I hate bombchu they never go to the place I want them to go and in Ocarina of time and Majora's Mask they cost like 100 rupees just for 10. Also i have made a Legend Of Zelda tournament on my profile so please vote in it. 11:21 July 31 2011 (UTC) User:Coolkat100
9. Voting for the underdog. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 20:17, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
10. Ok, think about it, The Remote Bomb is way beyond the midevil setting of the game. Sure a bomb that can climb walls thats pretty cool, but remote control bombs need to send signals between the bomb and remote. Thats WAY beyond there tecnolegy! Gentari is a tecnical GENIUS!User:Hookshooter

1. More control makes it easies to kill your enemies of the two I prefer these but bomb-arrows are better all around! I HAVE FURY!!! 19:55, July 24, 2011 (UTC)
2. I just threw one of these around to kill the darknut mini-bosses in the final dungeon in Minish Cap without letting it explode until they were dead.
3. Every time I tried to use a Bombchu it exploded at the wrong time or the wrong place, incidentally hitting the right thing.. They look great, better than the remote bomb, but I actually liked those little things, even though I completely forgot about them until I saw them in the contest:P
4. Remote bombs are quite effective against Darknuts, while bombuchus are...chu-chu's to Iron Knuckles.
5. with remote bombs you decide when they explode. with bombchus they just explode like regular bombs

Good! A battle against to of the same kind of things! This battle is anyone's game. Think of it this way: Blow up anytime, or go up walls? --Amythistfire (talk) 17:03, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

The real question is: mice that explode. Or this dinky little thing(no offense to remote bombs fans this is merely an opinion) that is basically boring and really not great. Is this one-sided? Yep.

It's been said a hundred times before; complaining about the fight is not helping. Rather than piss and moan about it, you could become an actually helpful contributor and end up being given the privilege of voting for whatever you may perceive to be a "better" fight. --AuronKaizer! 21:47, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

It's no where near as one sided as some of the fights we've put through. Oni Dark Link 22:39, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

I was'nt trying to agitate someone i just was giving my opinion is that such a crime??? And, Oni, i was saying my comment was one-sided not this fight. Sorry for the confusion.

If you like one choice in the Temple of Courage more than the other, you should vote for it in the voting section. That's the whole point. The peanut gallery is for general comments about the fight, so when you posted your opinion on who should win down here it came across as a complaint about the fight itself.--FierceDeku 22:16, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

My bad

Week 145: Ice Block vs. Orca

Frozen Boss Key

19 < 21
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! It is my pleasure to welcome you to Zeldapedia's greatly anticipated nine-thousand-and-first 145th week in the TEMPLE. OF. COOUUUUUUUUUUUUURAAAAAAAAGE!!! This week's climactic duel is between two cool and efficient warriors beings, each with their own set of... unique skills. Let's meet them now.

In the ice blue corner is a legendary artifact found throughout many dungeons scattered in different lands. This amazing object can be used not only to hold down switches, but also to climb atop high ledges; it also has its use in many devious ice puzzles. Not only can our hero freeze his monster enemies to create these, but they can also hold inside themselves both Small Keys and Boss Keys. Straight from your freezer, THIS. IS. IIIIIIIIIIICE BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK!!!

In the purple corner we have the elderly warrior of Outset Island, crippled by monsters and unable to use a blade. Living in a home with his older brother on the aforementioned island, this wise warrior taught our hero to use his sword, helping him to learn the legendary Spin Attack technique. When later in his quest, the hero brings this man ten Knight's Crests, he will teach him the powerful Hurricane Spin. Eventually, our hero even surpasses this fighter after hitting him 1,000 times with his sword without being hit himself even three times. THIS. IS. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Which of these two powerful entities will win in a match? Will Orca's blood run cold? ... ... ... ...Uh, anyway, on this great and long-awaited day, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET's GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLEEEEEE!!!

Votes for Ice Block

1. You have no idea how long I have awaited this glorious day on which this legendary and amazing fight would enter the Temple of Courage. Ice Block for the goddamned WIN. -Minish Link 22:41, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

3. All your Iseblox are belong to Iseblox. Sorry Orca ol' buddy, but Iseblox are much more useful in these ever-increasingly hot summer months. Oh and best fight ever (not suggested by yours truly). Anyone who disagrees is mauron. Problem? SmilingMan.png --AuronKaizer! 22:46, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
4. Yay! Ice Block is finally in a fight! And it totally beats some old guy with saggy moobs who claims to be an awesome swordsman but for some reason has not single sword in the house but has plenty of spears. Also he hits you whenever you make a mistake, which makes him an abusive teacher and he should therefore get his liscense taken away.Zant's Faithful Servant
5. a spear cannot harm the mighty ice block, If Orca hit it, it would just slide away, hit a wall, rebound, and knock him over, and if Orca climbed on it if he turned around he would fall on his face. Edit:plus if Orca stayed to long near it he get hypothermia.--Majora's Wrath ArtworkReincarnation 20:05, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
6. What Minish and AK said. Go nice lock, dice flock, mice chock, rice smock. (Yes, I got bored) TheMask-Mimic 15:35, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
7. So, to combat global warming, we drop a giant cube of ice into the ocean. Each year we have to drop a larger and larger ice block into the water... thus ending our problem once and for all... "But wha-" ONCE AND FOR ALL! --Hydropanda (talk) 14:21, June 30, 2011 (UTC)

1. how can you not vote an inanimate object?
2. MEH.
3. I highly doubt that Orca can even aspire to have the same amount of vigor, will and determination the Ice Block always has... at any moment... always cool... always firm... staring with its eyeless face on his faceless persona...
4. I spent way more time doing the stupid ice block puzzle in Twilight Princess than fighting old man Orca. THE ICE BLOCK'S DIFFICULTY IS INSANE. Thus, it wins this icy hot battle.
5. Even though I really love Orca, I like the image of the ice block more:P Besides, as anonymous voter number one says, how can you not vote for a block? BLOCKS!!
6. It's a block, it's ice, it's a block of ice! And if you call within the next twenty minutes, you get a frozen key inside absolutely free! But wait, there's more! If you call the number on your screen, you get double the offer! That's two blocks of ice, with two keys inside! All that for the low, low prices of $19.99 plus shipping and handling! So, if the number of your screen is blinking call right now!
8. As long as this ice block is not related to Vanilla Ice he's got my vote.
9. The ice block litteraly cannot lose. No matter how long you wait for it to melt... it won't....
10. This orca fellow is going to be confused and confounded by this ice block. Theres no way he gets the small key in the dungeon!
11. It's a freaking block of frozen water. Enough said.
12. ICE BLOCKS ARE AMAZING! Besides, I like drinking ice.
13. Icy Block. I Love Icy Block.
14. This ice block isn't going down without a fight. There's a reason it pretty much stops everyone. Period.

Votes for Orca

1. Orca is a grand and powerful swordsman while the Ice Block, is, well, a block of ice. I have those in my freezer. I don't have a master swordsman in my freezer. At least, I don't anymore...
2. ORCA IS THE ANGEL OF DEATH! Oni Dark Link 22:46, June 26, 2011 (UTC)
3. Even after being hit so many times, Orca sustains not even a scratch. He claims an injury keeps him from being an active warrior, but this is clearly just a cover-up for his true identity as Hyrule's eventual conqueror and warlord. Melting ice, on the other hand, often takes nothing more than hot spring water. Or fire. Or a couple minutes left in the sun at this time of year. Jedimasterlink (talk) 01:01, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
4. Well I haven't exactly played minish cap so I am going to go with orca. User:LoZSuperFan1 2:17, June 27,2011 (UTC)
5. Orca taught me a powerful magic ability. The likes of the Magic edition of circle attack. Not only that he freaks out at you when you beat him up. Any old man who has the courage to beat a child with no worry is either a scumbag or an awesome warrior. But this was a close one I was about to choose the ice but then I realized that I had enough of it... considering the fact that I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. Woooo... Oh and also the Orca is nicknamed the Killer Whale... So basically Orca is a Killer Man. Wtf? K'jal'mar ( The talk| Contribs) 20:56, June 29, 2011 (UTC) (Oops I forgot to log in *-_-

1. Holy piez! it's about time the fight was changed! Anyways, I don't really think you can compare an ice block to a warrior... they are way too different to compare. But, my loyalty lies with Orca. I mean, really. I'ts a block of ice...
2. How can you vote for an inanimate object?
3. Wait, why is there an old man fighting a block of ice? Orca's gonna win, he's the best sword trainer Link's ever had.
4. I think Wind Waker was meant to be a " A breath of fresh air that would hopefully influence later games in the series" and to some degree(if my assumption is correct) it did just that. First with Phantom Hourglass and then later Spirit Tracks, however if im not mistaken they were not quite as popular as TP and OOT. But nonetheless, WW was something different and refreshing (even if it was also sort of easy and just a little corny)and all the characters help it to live up to this standard. So, Orca: Outrageous:his screaming and wild appearance added this word to my description the moment I saw him. Risky(I would never bang on the walls if my easily angered brother was just a floor above me, at least if i knew it could break something! Actually I probably would knowing me but it is still risky). Cold: his icy stare and strict teachings(I do not agree with abuse but I do believe that discipline has its values) are surely tipped with frost! Awesome-not like 'Wow! That's awesome!' but that he leaves you in a state of awe, which even those who are voting for his opponent know, whether its the good kind of awe, or the bad kind. His name alone electrifies the air! Orca, the sword trainer! I hope you will win!!!
5. I just want to point out this is a popularity contest, not an actual fight. Go Orca!
6. Orca kicks a**... wait... am i allowed to say that? never mind. p.s. A CURSE UPON WHOEVER IT WAS THAT ERASED MY OLD VOTE!
7. 7. i want to see orca when...but tbh..i'm partially doing this to jsut tie it up X-D!
8. Okay honestly ice vs. a human... ice< human. A human, in this case Orca, would ALWAYS win!!!
9. I realize that this ice wouldn't melt, but Orca is so much more cooler, and could beat a block of ice any day of the week!!!
10. I beat you Orca taught the block to fight anyway. - Natiscool
11. Orca kicks butt and certainly a piece of ice!
12. It's an old dude with a spear who is named ofter a massive killer beast. If I want to beat an Ice Block, I freaking EAT AN ICE CUBE. If I want to beat this guy, I have to be agile and fast and epic, but not as epic as this guy. -1337/5 for Ice Block, 9001/5 for Orca.
13. +1\2 Vote for orca
14. Orca's, like, 2,000 years old. Automatic win.

Zeldapedia takes this opportunity to remind those wary of voting for an Ice Block that the Ice Block will never threaten to stab you, and in fact, cannot speak. In the event that it does speak, we ask you to disregard its advice. --AuronKaizer! 08:03, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Yes. -Minish Link 15:16, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

let us hope that Ocra didn't bring a bottle of hot spring water or this battle will be very one sided--Majora's Wrath ArtworkReincarnation 20:11, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Even though i voted for Orca some of his opponents votes made me smile! Nonetheless, a little hot water and Orca can wing it!

YES!!!! Orca is tied after after being behind this entire battle. User:Coolkat100

Ice block is in the lead? What the crap!!!x-( Come on! Orca fans!

Wow, I think that this is one of the closest weeks that we've ever had. But come on. Who wouldn't vote for an inanimate object when the only other competition is a skilled swordsman? TheMask-Mimic 02:39, July 20, 2011 (UTC)
