Week 129: Santa vs. Tortus

20.5 > 8
<center>LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! In the spirit of the season (not to be confused with the Season Spirits), Zeldapedia celebrates the Holidays (the specific season's name is withheld so as not to offend anyone) with a very special fight in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGE! This week, in our penultimate fight of the year, we have two unseen characters, represented physically in the least contrived way available, both of which are confused with the legendary Hero at some point. Let us see what we can learn about these mysterious characters.

In the Holiday Red corner, we have either the physical manifestation of Goodwill Towards Men, or a shameless marketing ploy created by the soft drinks industry, depending on your point of view. This ostensibly large fellow has a habit of entering people's homes by way of their chimney, to deliver presents to well-behaved children. The Hero enters someone's house in this exact manner, and is initially mistaken for this legendary character. THIS. IS. SAAAAAAANTAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

In the Holiday Green corner, we have the former owner of the Stock Pot Inn. He passed away prior to the events of the game, leaving his business in the hands of his wife and his daughter, Anju. The elderly old woman who is Tortus's mother continuously confuses the Hero with her deceased son in a ploy to appear senile and infirm. THIS. IS. TOOOOOOOORRRRRTUUUUUUUSSS!!!

Come one, come all! This may be your only chance to see these characters in the flesh, so get your tickets now, and bring plenty of money for concessions! LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Santa

  1. Duh, what can I say? It's Jolly Ol' St. Nick, and he's going to give me a big pile of coal if I don't vote for him. And Tortus is a "meh" character anyway, I didn't even get to know how the guy would have done as a father-in-law before he went. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to find some way to deal with the fits of laughter that the existence of this fight seems to cause. --AuronKaizer! 00:03, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
  2. I haven't played this game, or gotten all the way through in MM, but Tortus is kinda, he just kinda, eh, he sucks. --?a?? ?a???Japas Artwork 00:07, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Just because.......he's santa. ~RavensMill
  4. In honor of the season, I'll go with him. Plus it was fun breaking into Holly's house via chimney. Tortus is cool in his own kind of way though. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 03:41, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
  5. Well... if this was summer, I'd vote Tortus. But It's not... AmazingLinkLink Artwork 1 (Ocarina of Time) 14:10, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
  6. I agree with the others.Rusl 33
  7. I like Santa and I like Tortus but some men get looks from their mothers and if Tortus looked anything like his mother then, nice as his mother is, I have no choice but to vote for Santa :)Zelda-girl
  8. this is going to be a blowout. Why? cause Santa Claus OWNS.--Hylianhero777 (talk) 20:22, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

  4. Frankly, I resent the obvious attempts at manipulating children into doing what their told and just duping people with which I associate Santa Claus. Tortus kind of had this "who exactly is this guy?" thing about him that made him intriguing. Jedimasterlink (talk) 20:31, December 21, 2010 (UTC)
  5. Though we know pretty much nothing about him, he is related to some of the more detailed characters in the series, who lend lots of depth to MM. And he's, well, a ZELDA specific character.--Fierce Deku (talk) 02:23, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Zelda-related character who is integral to one of the most amusing characters ever or a fictional character who is used to keep kids in line? I'll go with Tortus on this one. -LeoLab 04:19, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
  7. I like how no-one seems afraid of Tortus giving them coal...--CrazyReDead

  1. I am definitly not going to vote for something created by coca cola that's got absolutely nothing to do with the original Christmas (be it with the Lord, or with the Ancient Germans and their Tree Fest).. I kinda believe Santa ruins Christmas for everyone not situated in the US..
  2. He's from Majora's Mask. Need I say more?

For the record, I didn't get any coal for Christmas. In fact, I got everything I asked for (which wasn't much, but still). Apparently, Santa isn't holding my vote against me. Jedimasterlink (talk) 07:48, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Week 128: Composer Brothers vs. Gorman Brothers

<center>Flat Sharp "'Composer Brothers'"
Flat Sharp
17 > 10
<center>Gorman Brother 1Gorman Brother 2

In the green corner, we have two brothers, composers to the Royal Family of Hyrule, most famous for composing a song that has the power to summon powerful rainstorms. In death, they guard the Royal Family's Tomb, and the notes to their most famous composition that are hidden within, as Poes. THEY. ARE. THE COOOOOOOOMPOOOSERRRRRRRRR BRRRRROOOOOTHERRRRSSSSS!!!

In the tan corner, we have two clones, er, brothers who operate a ranch in the land of Termina. They are rivals of Romani Ranch, and attempt to sabotage their milk deliveries at several points in the game. If defeated in a horse race, the brothers grudgingly present the hero with mask resembling Garos, which they had themselves used as disguises. THEY. ARE. THE GOOOOORRRRMAAAAAAN BRRRRROOOOOTHERRRRSSSSS!!!

Votes for Composer Brothers

  4. This is no place for people as full of life as the gorman brothers. ~RavensMill
  5. The Composers are poes and they have a better story. This is a simple choice.Rusl 33
  6. these guys were just funny, and I didn't expect them when I went into the graveyard, they kind of scared me. Also, I've lost some intrest in the toc ever since we switched to monaco...--Hylianhero777 (talk) 20:33, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
  7. Poes are lots of fun, with floating lanterns, glowing eyes through shadows, awesome pajamarobes, and an amazing laugh. It can only get better if you dress them up like Luigi and Mario! Portal-Kombat
  8. Hmm.. The Mario Bros. or the Boo Bros.? I almost voted for the Mario Bros. Gorman Brothers, but I like Poes and the Composer Brothers. Boo! TheMidna Laughing 01:18, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

  1. I prefer ghosts, they are way scarier than the Gorman Brothers.
  2. I love the Sun Song, and hate everything about the Gorman Bros.
  3. These guys are ghosts, which itself is pretty cool, plus, since they serve the royal family, they're more like good guys than the Gormans are.
  4. I have no idea who the other Brothers are. Plus, I like the way they resemble Mario and Luigi.
  5. I like the Composer Brothers more than the Gorman Brothers. I mean, you learn two songs (not to mention some epic death music from Sharp)from them, and what do you get from the Gormon bros? Some watered down stolen milk? No thanks.
  6. Really? Farmers vs. Ghosts. It's not even a question who's gonna win.
  7. Maestro Sharp: play for them! xD His tone of death is one hit kill for those weaklings. And also Song of Storms, my fav ever piece comes from one of them! Yup, my vote goes for ghosts.
  8. Song of storms = Epic.
  9. Those guys stink! the composer bros. actually have story significance, not just some lame side quest.(they are part of a side quest in OoT, but in MM they are part of getting to the stone tower temple. [I think -_-*])
  10. I'm voting for the Composer Brothers. The other guys might be cooler if they were dead too.
  11. These brothers are truly wonderful for their connection to music in Zelda (something few characters have in the series), and similar appearance to Mario & Luigi. ^.^
  12. These guys probably don't smell like horse manure, and it looks like the Gorman brothers do. Nuff said.

Votes for Gorman Brothers

  1. I like the Composer Brothers and all that, but these guys are just more devious. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 01:22, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Gorman Bros. All day err day. Eeyaaaah! --CrazyReDead
  3. For being unusually deep and memorable villains, if they even qualify as being so. Composer Brothers are cool, but I've not really come across many characters such as the Gorman Bros. in my storied career. Just the more original and interesting of the two. --AuronKaizer! 12:11, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
  4. This was a tough one... but I'll go for the Gorman Brothers. The Composer Brothers kinda dissapeares from the games, we don't see them that much. Also I like the idea of creating two versions of Ingo. And the way they look ... well it gives me a good laught. --Vussen 14:01, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
  5. dang this is hard, but i will have to go with the gormans. tho i must admit i like the composers in MM quite a lot. Ike 22:46, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Ok, one of the few times in the game where your're shooting sharp, deadly arrows at actual people. People say this game is for children? --Ricorum (talk) 20:41, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

  1. The Composer Brothers are cool, and I love the song of rain, but the Gorman Brothers, or rather their brother, Gorman, have much more interesting personalities. Gorman was fun in Ocarina and you got to know him, and his brothers, better in Majora's Mask.
  2. Yeah, I vote for these guys 'cause I think they are in Minish Cap, working nonstop in a field. Ah, well.

I've never met the Composer Brothers while playing OoT. How to make them appear? --Vussen 18:14, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

@Vussen: In the graveyard, I think there is a tombstone that, when read, will make one of the Composer Brothers appear. Or you might have to move one of the tombstones. Black Dragon Laguz 02:16, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
go to the end of the graveyard, you will see a tombstone that is bigger than the rest. move to either side of it, and one of them will pop up, kill like a normal poe, then kill the other one. i think it has to be at night. Ike 21:19, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
I have met Flat, but never Sharp... Not that I have tried really hard, though. --Vussen 21:28, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Week 127: Bigocto (Ocarina of Time) vs. Cueball

Bigocto (Ocarina of Time)
Bigocto (Ocarina of Time)

19 > 4

In the nice magenta corner, we have a large octopus animal found inside a lordly fish. Is it a mammal, is it an aquatic dino? One thing we do know is, that it turns blue when stunned. And Link has to shoot his flying returning object at its weak point. THIS. IS. BIIIIIIGOOOOOOCTOOOOOOOOOO!!!

In the pinkish red corner is a huge invertebrate that moves around a square platform while avoiding the hero. Once damaged, it will change the direction it faces. THIS. IS. CUUUUUUUUEBAAAAAAAAAAALL!!!

Votes for Bigocto

  1. It was an amazing fight. And I haven't played LA. --?a?? ?a???Japas Artwork 20:51, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Not for nothing, the battle against Bigocto was tense, occasionally difficult (at the age I was when first battling it, mind you) and epic somehow, unlike the coronary disease that serves as the real boss. With Cueball, it's as if they were not even trying. I was eight years old, and I managed to kill it in some sort of record time, without sustaining any damage, on my first try. Clearly, this is what inspired the difficulty level for PH and ST (oh now, you didn't think I could vote without including some ZelDS bashing, did you?). Bigocto is a solid competitor almost regardless of his opponent, but this is not even a challenge for him. --AuronKaizer! 21:08, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I think BigOcto is a fun battle. In the start he was way too hard! If you play the game over and over he becomes more like a mini boss should be. He is my favorite among all mini bosses. He is original, even though he is a mutated octo, I don't think anyone have come up with an idea like this before. --Vussen (talk) 21:29, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
  4. It's not that I liked Bigocto all that much or anything. Really this vote came down to the fact that Cueball was completely not memorable to me. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 21:47, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
  5. I have a feeling that this won't end well for Cueball. Now for the reasoning: I like octopi (which is reason to like each). Now that I think about it, I wish that I could vote for both. Oh well. I'm more familiar with Bigocto and I guess that I like him a little bit more. OE (That's supposed to be an octopus). TheMidna Laughing 21:49, December 5, 2010
  6. It's been a while since I've fought either, but I remember Big octo being a more interesting and tense battle. It was this huge thing right on your tail (which is more impressive with a 3D camera angle) and was quite difficult if I'm remembering correctly. It also looks cooler. And appearing in Majora's Mask makes me bias toward it, even if it was the gameplay equivalent of a locked door.--Fierce Deku (talk) 22:35, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
  7. Fighting Bigocto was too tedious to be enjoyable, but judging from the video of the Cueball fight, Cueball was a joke. Jedimasterlink (talk) 00:22, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
  8. Did anyone play the freaking game? Bigocto would win any day. Except maybe thursday. JediBob64
  9. I'm not a particular fan of either of the fights themselves, but I like Bigocto's appearance and the overall atmosphere of the fight. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 04:10, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
  10. bigocto is better. Meep Meep Meep (talk) 04:44, December 6, 2010 (UTC)
  11. I love both of them but I played Ocarina Of Time when I was little and I always played it with my dad and I love the game sooooo much. I love Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly and that is why I chose Big Octo :D Zelda-girl
  12. I love big octo back in the day i would struggle with him but i couldnt wait to go face him :) big ocoto FTW! Goron&#039;s RubyGoron-Scrub
  13. I like Bigocto alot more. He is the better miniboss.Rusl 33
  14. Neat. I like Big Octo. He was a fun battle and a good chance to try out the new boomerarng. Gastone (talk) 23:16, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

  3. I know that the Bog Octos pissed the heck outa me in Wind Waker when I was a little kid so I'ma vote for him.
  4. This guy freaked me out and I didn't even have a way to kill him. so he gets my vote.
  6. I've watched many fights with this guy and STILL can't get how people manage to kill him... Hence me voting on him.

Votes for Cueball

  1. You know the Bigocto was just a ripoff of this guy Oni Dark Link 22:16, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Besides what Oni said, I have always thought that the Bigocto battle was way too easy and just busy work in the game. Sure Cueball wasn't any better, but at least you could jump over him with Roc's Feather. Plus I have to give some love to the top down games. --Birdman5589 (talk) 22:46, December 5, 2010 (UTC)

Week 126: Igos du Ikana vs. King Mutoh

Igos du Ikana

King Mutoh Artwork
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia is glad to present everybody's favorite popularity poll: the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! This week, we have two undead kings that reside in the deep, dark depths of their decrepit kingdoms. Protected by loyal guards, these two rulers await the arrival of Link, with whom they share their wisdom and aid on his quest to save the world.

In the purple corner is the very king who utilized his army in the great war of Ikana and ultimately lost everything. He remains caged away in the Ancient Castle of Ikana with his two henchmen and an abundant amount of other undead creatures. Once Link defeats this skeletal being and his men in battle, the king teaches our young hero the "Elegy of Emptiness" that he uses to scale Stone Tower. THIS. IS. IGOOOOOOOOOOOS DU IKAAAAAANAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

In the goldish corner is the late king of the forgotten Cobble Kingdom. Within his tomb, this ruler is tortured by Eox, a giant mechanical monster. Once Link meets with all four of king's knights, he is granted access to the chamber where he encounters and defeats Eox, saving the king's soul. From here, the Cobble Kingdom's ruler gives Link the Aquanine needed to defeat Bellum. THIS. IS. KIIIIIING MUUUUUUTOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!

And now, these two ladies majestic sovereigns will do battle in the ring, and we hope that none of them are hurt too bad. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRREAAAAAAAAAAADYYYYYYYY TO RUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Igos du Ikana

  1. Igos is the man. Ikana, being one of the most curious things in MM, always sparked my attention and this guy is at the very center of it. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 21:46, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
  2. His graphic is just awesome! He's so strange and a really cool idea. There's just something about him that I fear, but also ... he's a funny guy. --Vussen (talk) 21:49, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Yeah. —Baltro [ talk · edits ] 22:18, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
  4. No contest. Jedimasterlink (talk) 22:29, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
  5. And, of course, everyone votes for the skeleton. Anyway, I like him more, mostly because I'm more familiar with him, he's a skeleton, and he was pretty fun to fight (and his minions, too). TheMidna Laughing 23:34, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Much better than the other guy. He is a skeleton who, in my opinion, is one of the best skeletal characters in the series. Black Dragon Laguz 00:35, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
  7. Majora's Mask characters are are typically way better than most others in the series. But that is aside the point, Igos du Ikana not only is very interesting character, but he is in my favorite MM location, plus he is a great boss to fight and he and his henchmen are pretty funny. King Mutaver his face is blown out of the water.-- C2 / CC 02:56, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
  8. Captain Keeta? ~RavensMill
  9. Mutoh is from Phantom Hourglass, and as we all know, anything PH-related that is not Linebeck instantly loses to anything that is not Tingle. Besides, Igos kicks ass regardless. Memories of the days when there was actually a small chance you could lose and have to redo the fight from the beginning... --AuronKaizer! 08:46, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
  10. Ikana and pretty much everything in it beats just about everything else in the series especially something that came from Phantom Hourglass Oni Dark Link 11:54, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
  11. I love how he decapitates himself :P and his back story is much sadder than Mutoh's :D Zelda-girl
  12. What is there to say other than that Igos simply kicks ass? Well, and that Mutoh is amongst the least interesting characters from PH, which is seriously saying something. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 23:04, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
  13. I feel a little weird voting for him when the other character is someone from a game I've never played, but Igos is just awesome. It may be too late for his kingdom, but he eventually realizes his failings. He has a cool boss battle and says one of the most moving quotes in the series (IMO). I'd go on but I don't want to end up with another text wall right here in the vote box.--Fierce Deku (talk) 07:42, November 30, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Everyone else voted for him... plus King Mutoh really does nothing...
  2. I love the statues you make of yourself when you play the Elegy of Emptiness.. especially the Goron and Zora one.. aaaand I can hardly remember king mutoh..
  3. Igos Du Ikana seems to have a much more interesting storyline than Mr.Mutoh on the other side. The King of a country ravaged by an army of Garo with Capitan Keeta by his side; and that's pretty much all we know. As I said; Interesting....
  5. Igos Du Ikana... He's cool. And his name's cool. =3 And Stone Tower temple would be impossible to beat without 'Elegy of Emptiness', of course. So, hence my vote.
  6. I don't know either of these dudes, but i'm gonna pick the winning side.

Week 125: Marin vs. Medli

16.5 > 14.5
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia, in accordance with the Law of Cathartic Fun, Paragraph 13, §4.2, brings you the awesome spectacle that is the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! This week, we have two popular female islanders from different epochs of the series, both of whom encounter the hero early in his quest(s), only to later play a larger role in their respective games, when the hero must backtrack to bring them with him to overcome his obstacles. They both also carry harps, although only one of them uses theirs in the game in which she appears. Let's hear the Tale of the Tape!

In the light blue corner is the very maiden who found the shipwrecked hero on the shores of Koholint Island and brought him safely to her house. The hero initally mistakes his kind rescuer for the Princess of Destiny, but the two grow a mutual bond of affection regardless. She is a talented singer, having awoken the loser of last week's fight with her dulcet tones. Revealed to be a figment of the Wind Fish's imagination at the end of the game, she nonetheless appears to have fulfilled her dream of becoming a seagull in a secret ending scene. THIS. IS. MAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRIIIIIIIN!!!

In the blue/gray corner is a young female Rito, and apprentice attendant to Valoo, patron Deity of the Rito people. She is a sensitive, caring, and brave person who aids the hero in calming down Valoo, restoring peace to Dragon Roost Island. Later, she is awakened as a descendant of the line of Earth Sages sworn to protect the Earth Temple, and safeguard the Master Sword's Power to Repel Evil. As a team, they brave the dangers of the Earth Temple, and together with the spirit of Medli's ancestor, they restore the Master Sword's power. THIS. IS. MEEEEEEEEEEEEDLIIIIIIIIII!!!

And now, these two ladies will do battle in the ring, and we hope that none of them are hurt too bad. LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRREAAAAAAAAAAADYYYYYYYY TO RUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Marin

  1. This is one of the toughest calls I have encountered in recent times. I like both of these characters a whole lot, and they both really represent different (and some similar) aspects quintessential to a truly good and memorable character. Nevertheless, as much as I liked Medli, Marin is just the superior one here. There was just something, I don't know, intangible to the way the relationship between Marin and Link; regardless of whether it's love or not, it's there, and it's almost real. One of the most believable romances/friendships in video gaming. Needless to say, Marin was the first great female character I encountered in gaming, and she is still one of the best out there. And you know the DKs wrote "Moon Over Marin" about her... err, right? Please say yes. Sweet and friendly, yet brave and dreaming. It's just... Marin, you know? You do.</walloftext> --AuronKaizer! 23:28, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

  7. Meep. go marin Meep Meep (talk) 00:39, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
  8. Marin has a nice design and the artwork is considerably better, also the story in Link's Awakening was much better and the game itself has the nostalgia factor which Wind Waker lacks. Mido did what?! (talk) 16:19, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
  9. Marin just...kicks ass. There's no other word for it. She's just an awesome character, right down to her design. -Minish Link 16:20, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Aside from Princess Zelda, Marin was the first major female character in the series, and she's still the best. Medli, at least in her current form, would not even exist if it weren't for Marin.
  2. They're both very likeable characters, and this is a really tough decision. But Marin is an integral part of her respective game, whereas Medli is really only interacted with on a few very specific occasions within the game. Marin is literally the girl of Link's dreams, and seeing her fade away at the end when the island disappears is a truly sad memory that always stuck with me after finishing the game. Plus, you have to love her angry outbursts when Link attacks a Cucco in front of her.
  3. Go Marin! Link's Awakening is my favorite Zelda game!

Votes for Medli

  1. I'm a big fan of Medli. Black Dragon Laguz 23:54, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Medli all the way! I cried when you went back to dragon roost and prince Komali was there and he'd picked some flowers and he was asking where she was and he'd never see her again and it was so sad! I actually did cry. No joke. Squeezycheesecake
  3. I'm perhaps a bit biased since I haven't played Link's Awakening (which is one reason I'm looking forward to the 3DS), but Medli is one of my favorite characters in the entire series. There isn't much to say about her relationship with Link, but I found that her relationship with Komali (one of the few dynamic characters this side of Majora's Mask) to be very tangible and memorable. When she is realizes she is destined to be the Earth Sage, her reaction to her newfound knowledge seems very human, despite the fact she is a Rito. Her innovative role in the Earth Temple is one of the main reasons said temple is, in my opinion, among the series's best. Medli is, simply put, an integral part of the experience of The Wind Waker. Jedimasterlink (talk) 00:20, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
  4. Tough choice, but in the end I've gotta go with Medli. --Nayru's Maiden (talk) 06:54, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
  5. Marin is great and all but Medli is a Rito!!--Ingo the great (talk) 19:58, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
  6. This might just be me, but I greatly enjoyed throwing her headfirst into a wall....several times. ~RavensMill
  7. Honestly, Marin kind of creeps me out. I see the affection she feels towards Link, but Medli seems a little more reserved, and a little less desperate. She loves Komali, but she knows she may not have the opportunity to be with him. Despite the potential loss of her future happiness, she goes to pray in the temple anyway, making her come off as a more complex, and ultimately more likable character. Marin just seems like a hanger-on. CrazyReDead
  8. Tough call, but I gotta go with Medli.--MaloMart (talk) Malo 21:26, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
  9. Medli's theme is just AWESOME! my favorite part of windwaker was the music, especially the title theme, which has medli's song incorperated into it.--Hylianhero777 (talk) 13:40, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Ha ha she gotses a funny nose like this:^
  2. Medli is one of my favorite charaters. I also like throwing her into a wall. Also I belive she is one of the first playable female charaters to.
  3. I really like the Rito Postman tribe, and Medli in particular (even though she isn't a postMAN).. Marin just did not do, besides having a nice picture with her falling on Link..
  4. Throwing her into walls ftw.
  5. YAY MEDLI! I've always like her, I dunno why. maybe it was her motherly look on life, or the fact that her descendant was a (Rather pretty) Zora (Zora's are my favorite race in Zelda:D). Medli can SOOO kick Marin's butt!
  6. Well, I've never played LA, and Medlie was actually pretty cool. And, ironicaly, I'm listening to WW soundtrack right now. Roflmaool! (roling on floor laughing my ass off out loud)
  7. Winder Waker pwns and 3-D is awesome! Medli is a lot better than that THING that's supposed to replace Zelda in Link's Awakening!
  8. GO MEDLI!!!
  9. Medli is actually real, not a dream.
  10. ive never even played links awakening, but that doesnt matter. medli kicks ass!
  11. Meldi is awesome, AND in Her game she's actually a playable character!!!

GAH! I can't choose! I liked the intro. I'm surprised that Meldi has the upper hand right now. PhoenixdaughterAM 15:21, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not too surprised. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 15:53, November 23, 2010 (UTC)

i want to sign up but it wont let me! can someone help me out? - anonymous

The WW fans have spoken, it seems. I really can't stand Medli early in the game but I like playing as her later, and I've never played LA so I'm just gonna sit this week out. -AnonymousNayru
