LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! The amazing Dufus™ Gallery brings you the 104th battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOUUUUUUUUURAGE!!! This week's fight is between two Sages, and both very important figures in the town of Kakariko. These acquaintances to the Princess of Hyrule will fight it out this week, so let's go meet the contestants themselves.

In the blue corner we have the last of the Sheikah, a legendary figure who opened Kakariko Village to all of the public. She teaches our hero the sacred song "Zelda's Lullaby" and is revealed to be the Sage of Shadow, presenting the hero with the Shadow Medallion. She helps the Princess of Destiny escape from a burning Hyrule Castle... THIS... IS... IIIIIMPAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

In the yellow corner is a descendant of the Seven Wise Men and the elder of Kakariko Village. After the Wizard Aghanim took control of Hyrule, he fled to the mountains near to the Eastern Palace. He helps our hero to retrieve the three Pendants of Virtue and subsequently the Master Sword. He is also an acquaintance of the Princess of Hyrule herself... THIS... IS... SAAAHAAAASRAHLAAAAA!

  1. I find it difficult not to vote for Impa. Sahasrahla doesn't truly provide any real sort of help. In various places he assists Link with advice. That's...about it. He's a trivia box. As much as I adore trivia, that doesn't truly make him that great. Essentially, this is Impa vs. a glorified Gossip Stone. When looking at it in that light, he seems like an utterly insignificant and rather flat character. Sure, he's one of the descendants of the seven sages, but Impa IS one of those sages. Furthermore, she's a Sheikah and insanely skilled. Consequently, I throw my little half-vote to Impa.
  2. Impa: Skilled Ninja and Sage of Shadow. Sah... oh, whatever: Old Dude who gets you lost with bad advice. Choose your side. P.S. Ocarina of time was my first zelda game and is still the best.
  3. Impa is actually a better guide/protector than Sahasrahla, whose name is too difficult to say..
  4. Epicness.

  6. Sahasrahla is basically a gossip stone. Impa is the last of an ancient race of mysterious guardians of the royal family. Impa wins, no doubt.

Week 103: Ingo vs. Zant

Ingo Artwork (Ocarina of Time)
Ingo Artwork (Ocarina of Time)

36.5 > 27.5
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Courtesy of the Rubber Pants Commandos, Zeldapedia brings to you the 103rd battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COOOOOOOOOOOURAGE! This week, we have a battle between two famoustache characters in the series who are influenced by great evil, who bestows great power upon them.

In the green corner is an ungrateful, workaday ranch-hand who saw his chance to take over Lon Lon Ranch when the King of Evil assumed control over the land of Hyrule. Beginning by kicking out his former employer, he went as far as to punish disobedient horses; however, after being defeated by the hero in a race, his evil tendencies seem to vanish and becomes a simple ranch-hand again... THIS... IS... IIIIIIIIINGOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

In the grey corner is an arrogant Twili who was refused the right to rule his people — seeing his potential, the King of Evil granted him fantastic magic powers, which he used to invade the peaceful land of Hyrule and cover the land in twilight. Cold and calculative though he appears to be, when agitated, he displays his frightening tendencies towards insanity... THIS... IS... ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT!!!

And now, our two sycophantic, power-hungry servants of the King of Evil will battle it out to find out which one of them is more deserving of a place at his side! There is nothing more to say, except... LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!!!

Votes for Ingo

  1. Ingo's an awesome conniving dude. He has the same contempt for the lack of thanks for his hard work as I do for mowing the lawn. See, I can relate to that. Factor in his awesome mustache, uncanny resemblance to the awesomest Mario Brother and general badassness and we have a winner. As cool as Zant was, he was an inconsistent character who was, as mentioned many times in the past, thrown away unceremoniously into the trash can by the legendary Contrived Return of Gannondorf. Hmm, I doth wonder for whom Ingo the great will vote? The excitement can hardly be contained! --AuronKaizer! 23:42, June 13, 2010 (UTC)

  7. You all know how I feel about much potentially, completely gone to waste because Nintendo was too lazy to give him any transition time between his morbidly sudden personality shifts. 15. As easy as it is to beat up on Zant, Ingo has quite a bit going for him. He's one of the few minor characters outside of Majora's Mask with an interesting story and a dynamic personality. And as a bonus for putting him in his place, you get to keep Epona, who made navigating Hyrule field immensely more satisfying. Jedimasterlink (talk) 02:45, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

  25. If Ingo had some sort of magical powers he would rule Hyrule uncontested. He's always been one of the most awesome people in OoT in my opinion. UberPhoebLink standing ALTTP 19:18, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
  26. Well the thing is.... I really liked the Zant of the first half of the story, and thought his second half appearance was kinda meh but not TERRIBLE. If this was Ingo of the first part of OoT and Zant of the first half of TP, I'd easily vote for Zant, but as it stands this is for the entire character and their impression on the story. With this in mind Ingo is easily the more well rounded character because namely, Nintendo actually bothered to explain his transistion. As an aside this still doesn't mean that Zant is not a badass character(more badass), he's just not as complete of one.-- C2 / CC 21:18, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

  1. At first, I disliked Zant; but now I actually like him. He's a cool, crazy, fun character who is as interesting as he is inconsistent. 8. How do you compare an angry farmhand to a psychotic, fish-headed beast with insane powers and a name that starts with Z? (I agree with Zoma89 on that.) Definitely Zant. ZeldaQueen12
  9. Ingo claims to do allthe work. I call BS, all I see him do is stand around all day holding buckets and gardening tools. He only got a promotion because Ganondorf took over Hyrule. 15. Ingo would never beat Zant. Zant was pretty much a badass then he started to go loopy when Link confronted him in the shadow realm. But even when he was insane he still pwned. Zant FTW!! User:The Postman
  16. Hmmm...lets see. Ingo's freaky, has a wierd moustache that always gets in my face, AND just too obsessed with owning the Ranch. But NOW when you mention the name Zant, his name has a "Z" in it, he's a Twili, AND not to mention, He's EPIC. Sure he may look like a fish-face behind his mask, but still, you cannot look at this guy without saying...nothing. :P ~YAY TWILIS!!!
  17. While Zant's sudden personality shift was annoying, all he would need to become a truly awesome character would be a transitional scene or two and a lack of Ganondorf. Ingo, on the other hand, really annoyed me. I don't know why, but he struck me as irritating. -Isdrakthül 19:29, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

  2. Sudden mood switches? Insane screams and shrieks? Seemingly cool until he goes crazy? He's awesome!
  3. zant
  4. I didn't like Ingo much, but Zant... He's awesome...
  5. Come ON guys, this vote should already be OVER Zant PWNS! Ingo, on the other hand, was annoying in both Ocarina of Time AND Majora's Mask!
  6. Zant is more eeeevil!!!!
  7. Well, I found his temperament pleasantly twisted. The boss battle was rather enjoyable too - "La la la la la!" as he shoots stuff at you. And his final death was excellent - eerie! "Ohhhhhhhh......." *CRACK*. Heh heh.
  8. Zant PWNS! He should win!
  9. he si better
  10. Zant, easily
  11. MEAOOOOOOOOOOOW zant. obviously.
  12. Quite an epic fight, with two insane characters yet evil too. But Zant deserves to win as he is more insane.
  13. Zant thought he would be king, and had all of his hopes dashed. Ingo never even had a reason to hope before Ganondorf, he was just a whining opportunist. Zant was a very desperate man, the most dangerous kind of man. Bdadams13
  14. Zant has the best boss battle, and aside from the fact midna killed him easily, he's way better than indigo. Go Zant!
  15. Zant was freakin insane as well as being mega powerful, and was a much better character than ingo. He clearly deserves the win.
  16. Zant is an actual boss, Ingo is a opponent and looks like Luigi. who wins? Zant wins!
  17. Zant has freaking blades come out of his arms. Ingo closes a gate. I wonder who wins (sarcasm).
  18. ... Why is Zant losing? He is Zant!!! That is Ingo!!! Here is how the battle would go. Zant glares at Ingo. Ingo fled. Here is how the awesome contest would go. The judge looks at Ingo, then looks at Zant. Zant is immediately declared the winner. This guy is one of my favorite villains of all time! Ingo is just a complaining good for nothing.

Most likely, you didn't use an actual signature (~~~~) at the end of your vote. Week 102: Phantom Guide vs. Seahorse

Phantom Guide
"'Phantom Guide'"
Phantom Guide

35 > 15.5

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! It's time for the one-hundred and second fight, brought to you by your favorite crazed group of Zelda fans! So without further ado, here's the TEMPLE OF COURAGE!!! This week's fight is one between two creatures who guide our hero. Contestant one is the Haunted Wasteland's resident ghostly guide, the other being a helpful seahorse. Let's meet our newest contestants, shall we?

In the purple corner, we have a ghastly, ghostly Poe-like guide. This creepy creature guides our hero through the whipping sandstorms past the River of Sands; However, if the hero does not follow this guide exactly, he will be lost in the storm. THIS... IS... THE PHAAAAAAAAANTOM GUIDE!!!

In the green corner is a seahorse of the same color. This seahorse, captured by a fisherman, is saved by our hero and shows him the way to Pinnacle Rock, and in doing so, helps the hero recover Lulu's Zora Eggs. THIS... IS... THE SEEEEEEEAAAHORSE!!!

Votes for Phantom Guide

  1. Mysterious. I'd be lost without this guy. I don't have the intellectual capacity to remember the entire desert path, y'know. The Seahorse is pretty cool, but their loving is a bit too saccharine for me. You know me, I like short names the best. Which has no bearing on this vote whatsoever. Also, cookies. --AuronKaizer! 01:10, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  2. I'm definitely going with the Poe that helps Link through the desert. TheMidna Laughing 01:14, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I like sea creatures, but I like ghosts more. -Isdrakthül 01:15, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  4. My favorite poe in the whole series. Also I live in a desert countrie, so this guy might come in handy. --Michael RyanTalk 01:19, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  5. No brainer. This is one of the most mysterious characters you ever meet in the series. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 01:22, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  6. This guy is way more epic. Come on, he's a ghost. Also, this is a very proud moment for me. :P -Minish Link 01:26, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  7. I like this guy. Therefore, my vote goes to him. J-man Zelda Fan 01:54, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  8. Truly a gifted poet, even for a Poe. Portal-Kombat
  9. Give me a smart ghost that memorizes paths over a smart seahorse that memorizes paths any day... - McGillivray227 02:24, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  10. It's not that hard to memorize the Sea Horse's path through the water. I could never make it through the desert without the Phantom Guide. Jedimasterlink (talk) 02:36, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  11. I don't have anything tangible to say here, really...I just like this one more. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 04:47, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
  12. I like the Phantom Guide better. I can't remember the desert path. ~iNavi
  13. I like seahorses, they are cute, they gave me a piece of heart, and I just LOVED their blinking light above their head. Close call seahorses, but I'd go for the Guide. I like ghosts, and without this dude, I would have never beaten the game. Sorry, little cuddly sea-creatures!!! ~A Sad Seahorse Lover, Yet a Happy Ghost One
  14. I love Poes. They are amazing. Plus with his mysterious background and his obviously difficult job, that's enoungh to make me vote for him over the seahorses. Even though they are very cute.Darax King Dodongo

And ghosts are SO much more ''BADASS!!! than some seahorse. the seahorse is a dumb monkey fart.
  9. Poes have lanterns. How can they lose?

Link and the King of Red Lions Artwork

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! It is with great pride that Zeldapedia Corp., Ltd. presents to you the TEMPLE OF COURAGE!!! We are ready to begin The Long and Winding Road towards another hundred fights! And we begin with a battle between two companions of the great hero who aid him in crossing troublesome waters. One contestant is a dinosaur-esque creature of some sort, and the other is an animated boat with a minds of its own. Which will be the superior flotation device? Let's see what these guys have been doing...

In the brown corner is a friendly Dodongo who aids the hero after being saved from a fate (presumably) worse than death. Aside from being able to rapidly cross water with ease, he can be picked up and thrown at enemies for damage. And whenever he's hungry, all he needs to do is chow down on some of those pesky enemies. THIS... IS... DIMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITRIIIIIIIII!!!

In the orange corner is a talking ship who aids Link in his crossing of the Great Sea. When the wind is at his back, he sails with mighty speed, and is able to jump over small obstacles. His surprising true identity is revealed a long time after he befriends the hero, and eventually the spirit within him leaves its shell empty. THIS... IS... THE KIIIIING OF REEEEED LIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOONS!!!

Votes for Dimitri

  1. When the wind is at his back, he does NOT sail with mighty speed, the slowest boat i`ve ever seen.User:The dancing redead
  2. Dimitri is awesome and my favourite animal companion. The King of Red Lions... can't even look at the guy (?) without thinking of all those painful hours of sailing... Imagine, I could have used that time for something constructive, like play the CD-i games or something. Cool character, but jeez. DIMITRI is the way to go here. Dimitri! Dimitri! Dimitri! AuronKaizer! 00:40, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I always picked Ricky as my primary companion. But the fact that Dimitri can eat moblins and other enemies is too awesome to pass up. I can’t go with the king over there. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 00:36, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

  3. Dimitri is cool and all, but the King of Red Lions is a king (in every sense of the word) and makes a HUGE impact on the plot. Besides, his "ending" might be one of the most emotional scenes in the series as a whole The Gerudo Guy
  4. A talking boat...TheMidna Laughing 01:55, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
  5. I didn't mind the sailing. It gave the world a sense of scale unlike anything else seen in the series, plus I just liked how the boat looked and how it has that conversation with Link the first time you meet it. Plus, unlike most allies Link has had over the course of his adventures, you can attack this guy with your items and sword and it'll actually react. Portal-Kombat
  6. I was almost tempted to vote for Dimitri just to promote OoX stoofz, but that would not be sincere. Other people can hate on TWW sailing, but it never bothered me, and I quite liked the King of Red Lions, as much as one can possibly "like" a stereotypical mentor character at least. 9. While both are great, I'm a Ricky guy so I can't betray him. --Birdman5589 (talk) 03:19, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
  10. I think the King of Red Lions is cooler then Dimitri. I mean, he's secretly the king of Hyrule... whats cooler then being king. --Zoma89
  11. Dimitri's usefullness in the oracles games is short lived. Why would you use him when you can just swim? Moosh for the win Oni Dark Link 07:15, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
  12. Other than the original, the oracle games are the only games i've never played never cared about and never really have an urge to play much. I looked up Dimitri anyway, and I suppose i can see why he is holding up so good in a fight that would probably be one sided (2-D vs 3-D= one sided usually), but he just isnt critical to the gameplay. You use him a few times to get around a field. The King of Red Lions you need to, quite literally, go anywhere, well, atleast anywhere except windfall. ---Tehmeganerd (talk) 11:41, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
  13. KORL is the best! he had a great backstory, and without him Link never would have made of of the Forbidden fortress. Plus, I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed sailing and I think he deserves to win.--Hylianhero777 (talk) 13:17, May 31, 2010 (UTC)
  14. As much as I love dodongos (a lot) I enjoyed sailing with the KORL more. He is a cool character that is needed for the game the entire time and I think he looks awesome. Still this was a tough vote. Darax King Dodongo
  15. The King of the Red Lions is gougerous, He has a cannon, a krane, He can jump on its own, he talks, and He is so wise!-Traveling Phoenix

  1. Sailing around on a red talking lion boat was awesome!...I've never heard of dimitri until now
  2. Same as above and I kind of liked saling on him. Sailing on him is much easyer than going on a train.
  3. yay king of red lions! He helps a heck-of-a lot more than that dimitri dude, in fact, he's crucial to the story line!! He has my vote definitely!
  4. This is a boat who looks cool, gets a cameo, looks cool, has a cannon, crane, and can hold a Korok between his horns, looks cool, survives HURRICANES, and did I mention looks COOL!?
  5. i just hav 2 say 3-D games r just awesome, even tho, riding a dino wud be cool, but wind waker is an epic game, i also like the graphics used in the game, plus the king of red lions tru identity is like an unexpected turn, i dont no y, but 2-D games arent really awesome in caracters, but they r pretty cool in dungeons, but in overall, 3-D is better than 2-D, especailly CARTOON 3-D!!!!
  6. What ca I say but epic win? he's the flipping King of Hyrule disguised as this cool, TALKING BOAT with a beard. He is wise and you ride around on he stunning oceans for the vast majority of Wind Waker. He's just awesome.
  7. A red talking boat (that is actually remotely controlled by a person) is SO much cooler than a dodongo that can't even breath fire! It can't even attack, unlike King of Red Lions, who has a CANNON!

Why DOES everyone hate sailing? Its really not that bad, if a little tedious once in a while.---Tehmeganerd (talk) 11:45, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

I assume it's because most people run out of patience easily. The only time I found it tedious was when sailing from Windfall to Outset during the Endless Night. Otherwise, I found it relaxing. Jedimasterlink (talk) 02:41, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
I liked sailing, personally, most of the time though, I just walk away and let the game sail by itself while I go make a sandwich, oddly enough I've not ever died from that. Jioplip

not trying to be rude here in any way but, i found a few errors in the intro. the sentence that describes the "combatants" starts with the words the other even though it is introducing the first. it also ends in a "?" instead of a ".". and then in dimitri's paragraph, it says he can pick up and thrown enemies instead of pick up and throw them. that is all 17:59, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing that out! I've fixed the mistakes. Feel to create an account! TheMidna Laughing 19:49, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! It's been a long time coming, and now the time has finally come for our super-fantastic, slightly neurotic, ubiquitous, ambiguous, subliminal, terminal, low sodium ONE HUNDREDTH FIGHT IN THE TEMPLE. OF. COURAGE!!! After a tough week for suggestions, in which people were uncertain on whether or not to bend the conventions of the ToC to celebrate this special occasion, we have a sweet battle lined up for you — not to mention, many, many, many more enjoyable fights in the Temple! It's all just beginning! Now, let's meet this week's contestants, our shy, music-loving flautists, in the ring!

In the red corner is a mysterious lad who is found in a haunted grove. Having found an entrance into the Dark World and subsequently stuck, he wants only for someone to retrieve his flute and play for him the song which he loves. His apparition, which appears in the Light World is beloved by animals, but disappears whenever someone comes too close. THIS... IS... THE FLUUUUUUUUUUUUTE BOOOOOOOOOOOOY!!!

In the orange corner is an impish creature who resides within the Lost Woods. Unusually shy towards those of another race and hostile towards adults, he befriends only those who know a special song of the forest. Being the mischievous creature that he is, he does not pay full price for the mask which is sold to him. THIS... IS... THE SKUUUUUUUUUUUULL KIIIIIIIIIIIID!!!

There have been a great many legendary fights in the Temple of Courage thus far. Will this live up to the legacy and become indicative of the future? That is up to you, our beloved voters! Now let us all raise our glasses (the drinking kind), have a toast and then... LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBLE!!!

Votes for Flute Boy

  1. Flute Boy's story was much cooler and much more mysterious. It got me the Shovel, didn't it? Flute Boy is a badass. I like the Skull Kid, but his Ocarina of Time appearance ain't enough, and the explanations of his tacked-on connection to Majora's Mask didn't help much. Hey, the Flute Boy becomes a tree-like creature in the end? Happy ending? Doubt it. Bleak as hell. --AuronKaizer! 22:35, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
  2. I like him more than Ingo. Well actually I do not. But I do like him more than Skull Kid who scares me.Ingo the great (talk) 22:37, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
  3. The Flute Boy had a deeper character than OoT Skull Kid. Still, I'm tempted to change my vote just because of the Skull Mask. -Isdrakthül 22:39, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
  4. He's so awesome, even ostriches come from Africa to Hyrule to listen to his music. Those African animals can acknowledge how freaking fierce he is all the way in Africa. -- Haru Mclean Namikaze Anonymous Kana: ???? ? ? ?????, Romaji: Namikaze Haru Makurin
  5. If this were about Skull Kid from MM I'd vote for him without a second thought, but his OoT appearance never particularly impressed me, whereas Flute Boy is pure badassery. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 06:59, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  6. I'm with Xykeb on this one.-- C2 / CC 12:20, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  7. Definately what Xykeb said. Darax King Dodongo
  8. Meep. I'm with the above. Meep Meep (talk) 15:08, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  9. I dont really care much for either and am voting for the under dog. Although when I do think for it a bit the flute guy doe have a bleak yet some how surreal and pleasant story that I am quite fond of. Oni Dark Link 21:21, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  10. This is totally random, but I play the flute in band, so... Dawn Of A New Day (is cool) Deku Flight
  11. There aren't many things that can really send a chill down my spine...seeing the Flute Boy turn into a tree stump after playing the flute is one of those things. Jedimasterlink (talk) 01:12, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
  12. Flute Boy inderectly gave me the best way of transportation what did skull kid do? cheapskate me out of a mask and also trying to drop A MOON on my head! (and also with the turning me into a tree thing) Octorok (The Minish Cap)DmerkaGU10Octorok (The Minish Cap)
  13. Even tho MM is my favorite game of the series, I'm going to have to go with flute boy. He is so much more mysterious... User:Hello Doggy
  14. Come on. He becomes a petrified tree for crying out loud. --Birdman5589 (talk) 06:28, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Me - Why do the most vote for the bad guy? Flute Boy is dead, we have to honor him. AND he is the one to thank for the first Ocarina in Zelda history. Without him the developers never got ispired to create the best Zelda game of all time: "Ocarina of Time".
  2. I feel so bad for his father.
  3. +1 Flute Boy
  4. Link to the Past and its characters are obviously far superior to any others.
  5. In Ocarina of Time (which is the version the image is representing), the Skull Kid doesn't do much except for a Heart Piece when you're a kid and tries to kill you when you're an Adult. The Flute Boy is much, much more helpful. Plus, one feels sorry for him, as he got lost in the Dark World.

Votes for Skull Kid

  1. He's Skull Kid! How could you not like Skull Kid! He's a mysterious boy in the woods. No, he's basically a mysterious entity in the woods who fades in and out and wants to play music with you and wants you to teach him a song. What's not to love?! --Jäzzi (talk) 22:40, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
  2. He's from MM Just pointing out the way most people will vote for this guy... I just like the Skull Kid better. I think I just like the way he magically vanishes in OoT. The one problem with him in OoT is that he stiffs you. In MM... he causes Link to become a Deku, makes the moon start coming down on Termina, and a lot of other crazy stuff. Hm. --DekuStick Master
  3. Skull Kid is the man. as much as I like the Flute Boy and want to give him my support, I can't make myself vote against this guy. a lot more nostalgia here. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 00:28, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  4. Skull Kid is one of the only villains in the franchise that I despised yet could empathize with at the same time. Portal-Kombat
  5. This is a tough choice. I don't know why, but, for some reason, I want to vote for the Skull Kid. zdmshadow
  6. skull kid was more significant --Hylian potato (talk) 02:34, May 24, 2010 (UTC)hylian potato
  7. His face is made of bone, he has major flute skiz-ills, and an awesome mask..... SKUUUUUULL KIIIIIIIIID!!!!! -ZeldaQueen12
  8. I was going to vote for Mr. Flute, but the picture scared me and the pic of skull kid is cool. Yes, I voted on the pictures, it that a crime? No really, if it is, please tell me. Super duh... AlpacaDoggie Mask 04:38, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  9. skull kid is awsome he tried to kill everyone Ganondorf1994 (talk) 18:04, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  10. Whether he is controlling the Moon, being controlled by a mask, or dancing around in the woods, Skull Kid is never a boring one. TheMidna Laughing 20:24, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  11. How one-sided is this, he was from two of the greatest Zelda games of all time, OoT and MM are great, and so is this guy. Skull Kid all the way! Golden Fierce Deity --War62 (talk) 20:44, May 24, 2010 (UTC) Golden Fierce Deity
  12. There was a strange aura about skull kid that I only just interpreted that I have had with me ever since I played OoT and MM. Its like the evil wraith of all the things that haunt children, being alone, having no friends, not having any power to do anything, and perishing somewhere far away where no one can help you or save you (lost woods). I really think there is just something about this character that is deep, something only Shigeru and his buddies could think of, just another cryptic Zelda moral. Plus.... Flute Boy is a good character, but he is underdeveloped and had just a boring monotonous feel to him and his side quest, so my vote goes to mister brain damage over here.---Tehmeganerd (talk) 22:52, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
  13. This was a tough call, if we were talking pure Oot here, I would vote for flute boy, but based solely on characters and not on certain time areas I have to go with the skull kid...even if he was REALLY annoying in MM..--UnendingForestGlade (talk) 00:14, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
  14. Anyone who lives in the Lost Woods will always win in the Temple of Courage (maybe)..--Pink_link May 25, 2010
  15. Wow. As much as I love A Link into the Past, I enjoyed Majora's Mask better. I liked the poor lonely kid who just wanted...this is about the race? Well, they do serve as bittersweet reminders of what once was in Twilight Princess. As for OoT, two words: Saria's Song.PhoenixdaughterAM 13:16, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
  16. He can play a flute even though he has a beak. What more could you want... A human
  17. I haven't played A Link to the Past enough to meet Flute Boy, so... --TheUltimateHokage88Arwing
  18. Wow. 100th battle... I was expecting something more grand, but, oh well. I was going to vote for Mr. Flute over there, but because I just got MM, I recently found out, this guy rules. He turns you into a Deku! Not to mention, I'm trying to anticipate what he did with Epona. I love this guy, end of story. Skull Kid forever... User:Hero of Men
  19. Skull kid!! of course!! how can you not like a kid in a skull mask? --Shibuya yuuri (talk) 21:46, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
  20. Although he ripped us off in OoT, Skull Kid is just cool and really endearing!!! The Gerudo Guy
  21. Not much to say on this matter... I just like the Skull Kid more. Zoma89
  22. I have a fond memory about the Skull Kid when I was first playing OoT. When I was walking around the Lost Woods and first found him, I did not learn Saria's Song on the ocarina yet (at the time, I didn't know you could). I spent so long trying to replicate the song just by ear, going in and out of his area and listening to the melody, trying to get the right notes. Other than that, Skull Kid is just more appealing to me. Oddball 464 00:05, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Skull kid is awesome because he leads you through the forest in twilight princess (even if he is a pain)
  2. OoT, MM, TP... wherever he appears, he is awesome! Plus, I love the insanity of MM.
  3. Villain, sidequest, guide, no matter what he is, he is cool. He is the memorable bonehead Skull Kid. Get it, Skull Kid, bonehead?! HA! *Cricket chirps*
  4. Skull Kid is the coolest. I mean, was there in the Lost Woods in Ocarina of Time and he was the awsome figure behind Majora's Mask. He beats the Flute Boy for sure!
  5. Majora's Mask was my all time favorite Zelda. Plus, after all the crap he put us through in that, I loved finally getting to beat on him in Twilight Princess
  6. Poor guy without friends.. As a guide he was scary, but as an evil villian he was awesome! He can't help it he has a strange beak for a mouth..
  7. This guy is just amazing and I mean in TP he could summon other enemies, the Flute Boy couldn't do that could he.
  8. Anything that you can kill to get 200 money is a winner in my book.
  9. Skull kid is awsome, end of story
  10. A long time ago, a hero of old made a journey to find a lost friend. This hero had everything to be sad for, and he only continued on out of desperation to continue. After riding in the forest for a little while, the hero stops... suddenly the hero's horse erupts and the hero falls into an unconscious state. A naive but power-holding imp appears almost out of nowhere. There and then, begins my favorite adventure ever: Majora's Mask. No, I am not picking Skull Kid because of Majora's Mask, but because of Skull Kid himself. SPOILER: in the end of MM, Skull Kid distinctly remembers Link from OoT, and virtually thanks him. Skull Kid is a misunderstood and naive imp; yet he's the perfect puppet for Majora. Perfect storyline, perfect components, perfect character.

So there you go. Undeniable proof that one day the Fairies will return to unleash their wrath upon us all! Unleash it I say! Unleash it good! They, they just can't see it yet. Are they blind? Blind as a Keese if you ask me. Oh...they'll see it. I'll make them see it. They'll call me crazy but i'm not crazy! I'm the only one that’s not crazy! -Stars talk Starssprite.gif 22:39, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Stars is right. Also, THE TURNIPS ARE COMING TO KILL US ALL! EVERYBODY PANIC! Just thought I'd add that as long as we're being insane. -Isdrakthül 22:44, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
What exactly are you saying here anyway? --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 01:12, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
I'm pretending to be insane. It's actually really fun. Try it! You'll like it, end up doing it more and more, become indistinguishable from an actual lunatic, and get locked up! That's what happened to me. -Isdrakthül 01:15, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
I was mainly talking to stars. but good to know regardless. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 01:18, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Great job on the intro... now I don't feel any regret about this fight being "normal." This is just the beginning! Portal-Kombat

may I add that if he wasn't in there, link would be stuck on the island? hmm, not much of an adventure...also, he helps in spirit tracks (the regal ring, i prosume?). SEE WHAT I MEAN?!? enough said. (oh, and nerds are SMART.)

come on. I cant believe i was tricked with this sudden apierence. (i MEANT to put this with linbek vs byrne, but then this showed up, so the whole thing transfered to this fight) stupid. (ignore that post... PLEASE?!?)

...what? TheMidna Laughing 22:17, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
This person was going to comment on the Linebeck vs. Byrne fight, I think. --DekuStick Master

I just thought i'd say that the skull kid is from ORACANA OF TIME! Stop mentioning Majora's mask or Twilit princess, please. this is the Oot skull kid.

oh... he is also Mm skull kid too... srry...

Meh... Not gonna vote in this one. Onsided fight is onsided. -Stars talk Starssprite.gif 16:02, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I bet your just bitter it beat yours. It can barely be considered truly one-sided at this point. Although that will possibly change. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 16:03, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
I actually don't care that much, mine wasn't brilliant anyway. Don't assume things. -Stars talk Starssprite.gif 16:07, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
Def still assume it. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 16:16, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
