Week 89: Lanmolas vs. Twinmold

LLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNN! Zeldapedia proudly brings to you the 89th week of insane, non-stop battling! This week is a battle against two groups of fierce worm-like creatures who like to play in the sand. Let's meet our contestants in the center ring!

In the green corner is a group of three angry bosses who guard the Pendant of Courage in the Desert Palace. They attack together and if one's other two partners are destroyed, it will launch a super-assault on its prey. THEY...ARE...THE LANMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLAS!

In the red corner are two identical oversized worms found within a pocket dimension inside an upside-down temple. They can be fought by regular-sized heroes, but a special mask allows one to even the playing field by transforming into roughly their size. THEY...ARE...TWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINMOLD!

The center ring is severely overcrowded today, and Temple of Courage, Inc. will not take responsibility for any crowd members damaged. Well, as they say, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RRRRRRRRRRRRRRUMBLE!

Votes for Lanmolas

  1. I love Majora's Mask, but Twinmold was the most pointless boss. It was simplistic, the Giant's Mask felt gimmicky, and it controlled awkwardly. This boss battle was simple as well, but it controlled a lot better and didn't feel so awkward. Also, I was expecting... something more complex as the boss of the Stone Tower Temple. So Lanmolas wins here. Portal-Kombat
  2. Brings back memories.--RedeadhunterRedead.pngContributions Edits 19:12, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I don't really care about this fight at all, soooo... "Thier apperance in Wind Waker!!11!!one!!! OMGZ!!!!". --DekuStick Master
  4. I gotta go for Lanmolas. Being one of the most memorable bosses from my childhood I would feel like Tiger Woods voting any other way. --Birdman5589 (talk) 23:18, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  5. I just enjoyed this boss more. Twinmold is easily my least favorite MM boss. Jedimasterlink (talk) 23:30, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  6. The Twinmold fight is just an example of pure laziness and lack of strategy, particularly after such an awesome dungeon. Either you subscribe to the grinding task of fighting them normally or you stick on the Giant's Mask and start slashing them mindlesssly without even being able to Z-target. Lanmolas aren't too complex either, but I find mindless slashing is far, far easier to bear in 2-D games than 3-D ones. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:37, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
  7. Because I love this game and kinda hate MM --DarkTriforce (talk) 02:09, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
  8. I had no freaking clue who to vote for. The reason I am voting for Lanmolas is cause he looks cool. Hero of Men (talk)
  9. Trying to get him to win,for some reason.And they're blue.--Farore.din.nayru (talk) 15:53, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
  10. I love these guys. There are more of them, they can fly, and have a little turrent that can shoot fire. That's awesome! Sincerely, Watcher

  1. Twinmold is ridiculously easy with the Giant's Mask. -Isdrakthul ( 19:56, March 7, 2010 (UTC))
  2. He gets a pity vote.

Votes for Twinmold

  1. No disrespect towards the Lanmolas, I love the complete lack of challenge the battle against them presents even during a no-heart challenge, but it's pretty damn awesome being able to pwn oversized bosses as freakin' mask-wearing giant. Oh, and anyone who votes for Lanmolas due to "their appearance in Wind Waker" or something is a failure. --AuronKaizer! 18:31, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  2. I have to go with these guys. The whole mystery surrounding the Giant's Mask and this battle was cool too. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 18:42, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I like Twinmold overall more than Lanmolas. Like Joe said, the mystery surrounding the Giant's Mask and them are cool! - McGillivray227 19:03, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  4. They would crush Lanmolas without even realising they were fighting them. And they are a lot harder enemies in general (try beating them without the giants mask or gilded sword) Oni Dark Link 20:25, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  5. One acronym: MM. --Sincerely Haru Mclean Namikaze | Kana: ???? ? ? ?????, Romaji: Namikaze Haru Makurin
  6. They have a cool fight, and the Giants masks is sweet.-- C2 / CC 21:11, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
  7. Lanmolas were more like a miniboss than a boss User:Longhorn Velez
  8. After pondering a while on who to vote for, I decided on Twinmold. I just found the way you have to beat him unique, Lanmolas just seemed to strait forward. --Tehmeganerd (talk) 22:04, March 8, 2010 (UTC).
  9. THEY'RE FROM STONE TOWER! STONE! FRIGGIN'! TOWER! Oh yeah, and they're cooler. Anyone else getting a sense of Deja-vu? --Sir Real
  10. Though I haven't fought Lanmolas (or don't remember fighting it), I remember fighting Twinmold. I started by putting on the Giant's Mask, attacking Twinmold, then running out of magic. I then ran around hoping to magically obtain some more magic. I didn't know Twinmold could be beaten without the Giant's Mask at the time. TheMidna 19:10, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
  11. Any boss that can burrow through sand WHILE UPSIDE-DOWN would have a much better sense of balance. Oh yeah and Twinmold has much better flying capabilities, Thank you for flying upside-down on air-Twinmold. User:Peakprovince
  12. Twinmold was an awesome boss a little simple but I thought it was fun. Shadow0930 (talk)
  13. This was one of the most memorable boss fights in the Zelda series for me. It was just fun and difficult to beat. Oddball 464 03:13, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
  14. This is an epic boss battle. It's like Godzilla Vs. Mothra. You know, minus scales and wings and stuff. Docter Ted

  1. I love all the sand-worm bosses, but I must say, fighting two giant ones beats fighting three smaller ones. It's even better than fighting one giant one and its spawn. Even the temples and the boss music for Twinmold is better. Sorry, Lanmolas, but you just don't cut it.
  2. I have fought both monsters many times and of the two, the one who still proves to be a challenge is Twinmold. To those who say that the temple needed a more challenging boss, well, I do not agree with them. The temple is enough frustrating to have a horrible boss that proves too difficult to defeat. I know I like to have a tough boss at the end of a temple, but I don't want to fight it three or more times. It is true that there are ways to make Twinmold battle easier, but doing it the hard way makes it better. The other boss is very easy to defeat after you get some experience, and Twinmold still brings that difficulty to me even after all this years. And if people wanted to have another frustrating and very hard boss to defeat, which one could you say is worse? To me, bosses are memorable when you die a few times and have a good fight, and Twinmold is one of them.
  3. A boss just isn't worth fighting if it's too easy, and Twinmold is probably one of the hardest 3D Zelda bosses there are, and definitely the hardest in Majora's Mask. If you don't die at least once in a boss battle, fairy or no fairy, it just isn't worth it
  4. Try to beat it without the giant mask!
  5. This boss is one of the coolest bosses in all zelda games also is in a very good game
  6. This guy is way huger than the other one so i vote for this
  7. I liked this boss fight more, since I thought it was funny to grow in size, withouth ageing or putting on tights
  8. They are actually a good boss
  9. MM rox! Twinmold can crush the Lanmolas in less than 2 seconds! Also, Twinmold is 3-D and Lanmolas is not. The hard part about my decision is that they hav similar appearances. But Twinmold is from the sequel to the best zelda game ever! But Lanmolas is kind of cool, i hav to admit. But like i said, Twinmold is from an awesome game. GO TWINMOLD!

Im torn on which of these two to vote for, after all they are similar in attack style, appearance (sorta), and being annoying.--Tehmeganerd (talk) 19:12, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

Sounds like a Tingle vs. Vaati fight. --AuronKaizer! 20:55, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
The "annoying" part, that is. Oh yeah, and appearance. --DekuStick Master
And they attack the concept of subtlety. --AuronKaizer! 20:59, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

Anonymous voter #2, you should just not vote if you don't have an opinion. -Isdrakthul ( 22:09, March 7, 2010 (UTC))

I'm gonna remain impartial in this fight. Other than the names the bosses are the same thing different only by the 2D vs 3D aspects of incorporating them into the game. And to those who say that Twinmold is weak and easy, have you tried fighting that boss with anything less than the Full magic meter, Gilded sword or Giants Mask? Just asking. --ComeBackKing (talk) 00:00, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with ComeBackKing, they are no pushover when lowly equipped Oni Dark Link 08:56, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
For the record, the first time I played, knowing little to nothing about the game, I had the unupgraded magic meter and the Kokiri Sword when fighting Twinmold. Fight was still boring as hell, only in that instance it was more dragged out and obnoxious. I can hardly say it was an improvement. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 09:36, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
I didn't know that Twinmold could be beaten without the Giant's Mask when I fought it. Also, it wasn't easy for me; I ran out of magic and tried to break the pillars in hope for more magic. TheMidna 19:10, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

This is a really tough one for me. I haven't looked at it until now because I thought it would be Byrne vs. Onox, but this is one I can actually vote on. The problem is, I can't choose a side. Could anyone offer some assistance?--MaloMart (talk) Malo.png 05:42, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

Follow your heart Vote for Lanmolas. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 05:51, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
Follow your heart Vote for Twinmold Oni Dark Link 15:25, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
Why should we follow our heart? Why not our lungs or liver? Sincerely, Watcher.
Follow your stomach In my opinion, I think that you should vote for the one whose game you've played, or the one with a cooler sounding name or that looks cooler. TheMidna 22:00, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
I've played both games and fought all five worms, but I can't decide which I like more. I'm not one to vote based on the better game or better dungeon (Twinmold would win) or which one would win in a real fight (once again, Twinmold). This is hard for me.... --MaloMart (talk) Malo.png 01:53, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
You could vote for the cooler looking one or the one with the cooler sounding name if you wanted. TheMidna 02:13, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
Vote for the one you hate/love the most. Or the most annoying one. Vote for one that is better in some way over the other. --Sincerely Haru Mclean Namikaze | Kana: ???? ? ? ?????, Romaji: Namikaze Haru Makurin
I support your decision ;). Though I'm not sure what my thyroid gland would have me do...or any other gland, for that matter... Jedimasterlink (talk) 00:58, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

Ugh this fight feels like its dragging out way too long--DarkTriforce (talk) 16:15, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

Week 88: Gomess vs. Blue Stalfos

19.5 > 11.5
Blue Stalfos

LLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to present to you the 88th week in the TEMPLE OF COURAAAAGE! All right! And now, for your entertainment and viewing pleasure, we bring to you the battle of the supernatural, scythe-wielding, magic bombastic MINI-BOSSES! Let's meet them!

In the brown corner, we have a giant shadow surrounded by a pack of bats. Hailing from the Stone Tower Temple, he moves extremely slowly, guards his little orb with his unlife, and is easily provoked by bunnies; let's hear it for GOOOOOOOOOOMESS!

And in the blue corner, we have what appears to be the Grim Reaper. Coming to us all the way from the Ancient Tomb, he is generely a pacifist, has a life-saving cloak, and can turn into a little baby; he is the BLUUUUUUUE STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALFOS!

So, two (supposedly) undead combatants shall now cross scythes in our area of battle. But in the end, only one will be the master of death. Which one will it be? That, my dear voters, is up to you! I rather like my soul, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

Votes for Gomess

  1. Both of these are the hardest enemies in a three heart challange in their respective games and although Reeper is harder I like Gomesses better. Plus hes from stone tower and ikana my favorite place in the series Oni Dark Link 18:23, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Thought this would be a landslide. Perhaps the above vote scared people away. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 19:46, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I have always loved Majora's Mask and stone tower temple was my favorite. Shadow0930 (talk)
  4. Gomess appeals more to me because Stalfos Reaper looks to much like the generic Grim Reaper. - McGillivray227 20:07, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
  5. Don't have a good reason this time around. I just liked it better, ya know? Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 20:19, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Gomess is one of my favorite minibosses... that's all I can really say about it. I like its attacks, the difficulty, and how it's animated, basically. Portal-Kombat
  7. It's a shadow with a scythe. Awesomeness. --DekuStick Master

  9. I remember inventing a hodge podge strategy just so i didn't have to fight this guy. A greater example of logistic fail is impossible to quantify. The crazy scythe guy wins hands down. --ComeBackKing (talk) 09:17, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

  4. I didn't play any of the two games but this guy looks cooler
  5. The Stone Tower Temple is frigging awesome! Who would NOT pick Gomess?!

Week 87: Grog vs. Kamo

LLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! It is now time for the 87th battle in the TEMPLE. OF. COURRRRRRRRRRAGE!!! This week we bring you a battle against two moping (read: emo) characters in the Legend of Zelda series. Let's see who is the better one this week! Let's meet our contestants in the ring!

In the pale corner is a weird-looking dude found sitting under the tree in Kakariko Village at night, claiming how "disgusting" everybody is (but him, of course) and only respect other "Nice Guys", like himself. THIS...IS..GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROG!!!

In the purple corner is a character clad in purple with a curious fascination for the Moon. Convinced that nobody understands him, he looks at the Moon at night with his telescope. Okay, that's cool. Anyways, THIS...IS...KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMO!!!

And now, let's see which of these two anti-social characters will be 86'd by the other! LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRRRRRRREADY TO RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLE!!!

Votes for Grog

  1. Duh, I thought this guy was a villain when I first discovered him. He was also quite mysterious, considering his part in the Biggoron's Sword trading quest. He might not be as cool without his mohawk, but he's still badass. Kamo was, too stereotypical, and I couldn't really connect with him at all...not saying that I did with Grog either. Err...awesome! --AuronKaizer! 21:53, February 21, 2010 (UTC)
  2. "People are disgusting. My own Father and Mother are disgusting. You must be disgusting, too!" Grog is just better, in my opinion. He looks cooler. --DekuStick Master
  3. Grog turned into a Stalfos and then had Fado laugh at his fate. As much as I love the Kokiri, I feel bad for him, thus he gets a sympathy vote --IStars talk FUN! 22:01, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

  19. In Majora's Mask, Grog is a total chick magnet...literally. Okay, that doesn't really mean anything to me, but hey, he gives you the bunny hood and I've never even heard of the other guy before. And I'm playing Majora's Mask right now, so that may have something to do with it. Sir Real
  20. I actually played his game so....--DarkTriforce (talk) 00:40, February 23, 2010 (UTC)

  22. Grog has a touching backstory to him, and he was neglected by even his own father who remarked him as a no-good scum. You have to feel some sympathy for the guy. Also, without the Biggoron's Sword, I might not have beaten Ganon. Kamo? One Piece of Heart? If it weren't for that then he'd be a loner. SandFlyer83 (Talk) 03:32, February 23, 2010 (UTC)
  23. Grog gives you the bunny hood in MM. If that won't win it for him I don't know what will. Floormaster 10:37, February 23, 2010 (EST)
  24. This poor guy is shunned by everyone around him. He seems like he would be a nice guy if you took the time to get to know him. And then he turns into a stalfos. Breaks my heart. Take care Grog. Docter Ted
  25. Grog deserves props --Ignitiator
  26. I only knew grog and he was funny to me in a creepy way. {Shadow0930 (talk)}
  27. Grog. He's the only real man on the ranch. Not only is he smart enough to know that the moon is gonna hit, but he faces it like a MAN! And he's a stalfos. Stalfos are awesome. Cybrwulf
  28. Grog because I loved his outlook on life and how he thought everybody was disgusting! :) - SSBFan
  29. Grog has so many more votes right now. I like the biggoron's sword and the bunny hood, and without Grog, neither of those items would be possible. So I'll just add another vote. TheUltimateHokage88 (talk) 20:05, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

  2. I thought Kamo was a woman at first. No joke. But I vote for Grog because I get to bring him a Cucco, instead of taking a picture of the moon. Also, this is a one-sided fight...
  3. I hate Kamo cause he won't accept my picture of the moon in Wind Waker. Go Grog!!!!

Votes for Kamo

  1. Because I'm worried about him. If he doesn't get a single vote, he's going to hurt himself.--MaloMart (talk) Malo.png 01:23, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Grog, you are disgusting.--Redeadhunter 02:33, February 22, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Eww, Grog is a creep. I would slash my sword at him when I was younger hoping it would actually hurt him after he called me disgusting. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 16:41, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

  5. They are both annoying, but Kamo isn't a deranged drunking freaking LUNATIC! If I were Majora i'd crash the moon right into his little cucco farm, and evacuate only the cuccos, that's how much i hate Grog's character. --Tehmeganerd (talk) 21:57, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Dunno why this one doesn't get the votes, considering the other combatant to be way to skinny for his own good. Besides, the moon rocks!!

Come on everyone! Lets make this the most one-sided ToC match ever! or you know mumble over dramatic comeback mumble mumble.

If this one is also the 86th does that mean Laruto didn't really lose to the (literally!) washed up rock star?--ComeBackKing (talk) 23:36, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

So since this fight started I decided to boot up my old gamecube and try to take a pic with the full moon. I waited a very long time by doing a bunch of random stuff, and finally, a full moon came along. I took a pic of it that showed the entire moon, but he didnt accept it. Something similar also happened when i decided to give a fairy to grandma for her lightsaber inducing soup. The fairy just fricking went around he and dissapeared. BOOM! System crash! This happened on my friends Gamecube once before, too. Anyone know wtf is going on? --Tehmeganerd (talk) 22:32, February 25, 2010

Week 86: Laruto vs. Mikau

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! For the 86th time we gather here at the TEMPLE. OF. COURAGE! This week, we have a fierce fight between the ghosts of two musical Zora. Let's head to the center of the ring to see what these guys are all about!

In the blue gray corner is a female Zora who, in life, was the Sage of Earth. Holder of the Ancestral Harp, she was murdered by one of Ganondorf's minions, seeking to eliminate the threat of the Master Sword...SHE. IS. LAAAAAAAAARUUUUUUUUUTOOOO!!!

In the turquoise corner is a male Zora who was the guitarist in the famous Zora band, The Indigo-Gos. He was mortally wounded by pirates in attempt to save the children of his true love and lives on as one of Link's various forms...HE. IS. MIIIIIIIIIIKAUUUUU!!!

And now, the fight is almost upon us. The halftime show will consist of a duet performed by our two competitors, if both are still alive at said point. In the name of music, LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET RRRRRRRRREADY TO RUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMBLE!!!

Votes for Laruto

  1. Mikau is cool and everything (if a little... spastic), but Laruto hits me a lot harder than Mikau does. And so does the Earth God's Lyric. Diachronos (talk) 21:13, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Well, because I feel sorry for her, after being killed by that...thing. Mikau is good, but Laruto's story makes me think. So, I'm voting for her.--BeatOli (talk) 21:16, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Both are cool, but Mikau's spastic behavior sort of ruined the mood of the scene for me. Plus, I prefer Laruto's music. Jedimasterlink (talk) 22:20, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
  4. For the irony. Fish being sage of earth. Makes less sense then a bird Oni Dark Link 22:55, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
  5. If this were about Laruto and Zora Link, I would vote for Zora Link instantaneously. However, this is about Mikau himself, and Mikau himself is just...weird. Also, harps are cool. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 00:57, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Sage of a temple with undead in it FTW!--Redeadhunter 01:15, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  7. I liked her much more than Fado, and I like Fado much more than Mikau. Law of syllogism. —Baltro [ talk · edits ] 01:23, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  8. I hate everything that emulates "surfer speak" and so...Earth God's Lyric FTW!!! --ComeBackKing (talk) 03:40, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  9. This was hard, but Mikau was a tad beat, sure he had to face against Gerudos, but Laruto actually stood against Ganondorf's Army. The King Of Evil. And considering that the room had only one door, she could have fought against the army with her bare...fins. SandFlyer83 (Talk) 03:49, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  10. Mikau's song just weirded me out.--MaloMart (talk) Malo.png 04:11, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  11. A Sage that can restore power to the strongest sword in Hyrule, now that's kinda cool against a guitar playing fish.--Power courage wisdom and time (talk) 14:13, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  12. Well, both are cool, have epic instruments, and are Zora, but mikaou is insane. Period. Aside that point, Zora link and his related dungeon are my favorite in majoras mask, but I prefered how puzzling it was to have to go and search down the person who is the sage in wind waker. (FYI i didnt pay attention to Laruto or Fado's instruments, and i didn't use a guide, so that part was hard for me =|)--Tehmeganerd (talk) 20:41, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  13. If anyone here knew me irl, they'd know why. I'm like, constantly humming the Earth God's Lyric under my breath. Laruto has an awesome song, and Mikau only has some weird thing written on a gravestone that so obviously serves no point other than to tell you something they could have just as easily put in the MM manual. —Lisa URAQT 23:40, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
  14. Though I've actually seen Mikau in the game itself, I don't enough about Laruto to vote well. I'll vote for Laruto because Mikau is losing. The Midna (talk) The Midna 01:18, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
  15. Given the choice in between 2 zoras that have no personality whatsoever I'll take the one who's female. Metroidhunter32 02:45, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
  16. Laruto's song is very pretty, while the other guy's is just annoying. User:Superlink27 February 20, 2010
  17. Girl power.And she's losing.Also,Mikau looks like a bodybuilder,Just plain ew.--Farore.din.nayru (talk) 14:01, February 20, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Laruto looks cute, Mikau just like a bully. And I always liked Laruto since she was the only Zora to appear in the Wind Waker.
  2. I prefer Laruto. Mikau is covered in tattoos.
  3. Well...I really do love playing the songs with the Wind Waker....and besides, I never really liked...transforming Link.
  4. well, Mikau may have an awesome guitar, but did He stand up to an army of monsters ( not just a fat ghost) without any sort of weapon? (and note no one even knew Laruto existed) also, the way link transforms is... distirbing... (shows slight discomfort)
  5. the harp is shiny.
  6. Laruto's cute ;)
  7. Mikau seems kind of strange. Besides, Laruto is a sage, while Mikau is just a random guitarist.

Votes for Mikau

  1. LOOK AT HIS GUITAR. LOOK HOW AWESOME IT IS. Additionally, he was a real sacrificial hero and performed his own memorial speech (?) before death. That's just cool. Laruto is also a good character, but doesn't get enough development, and the name could have been more original. Anyways, LOOK AT MIKAU'S FREAKIN' AWESOME GUITAR. --AuronKaizer! 21:11, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
  2. How the hell can you NOT vote for Mikau?! He is just epicsauce. Laruto may be a past Sage, but she doesn't have a totally kickass guitar and tattoos. Without Mikau, we could not have Zora Link, and I wuv both of them very much --Stars talk FUN!
  3. Guitar and tattoos are too awesome for the presence of Laruto. Not enough character development in her too... - McGillivray227 (talk)
  4. A cool guitar, rock star demeanor and a real tearjerker story. This guy has it all!!! --The Gerudo Guy
  5. He's not already a ghost when you meet him. You see him hurt, you see him die, and you know that he's leaving people behind. Laruto just kinda...shows up. Not nearly as sad.--Lapis ofthe Night 21:36, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Mikau's story is more tragic than Laruto. You also can't help but feel sorry for the other Zoras when you're Zora Link, giving them the impression that Mikau is still alive... Oddball 464 21:38, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

  15. I play guitar, and Mikau is such an inspiration to me. Besides Guitars are way cooler than harps. He is the only reason why I would consider Majora's Mask a better game. User:Mountdew072
  16. Mikau plays guitar, is descended from a line of zora warriors, and becomes a mask that turns you into a zora. And he died protecting his loved ones and will never be remembered for it. He is a true hero. User:HeroofAwesome
  17. Guitars are totally more complex than harps.Pie145 (talk) 00:09, February 15, 2010 (UTC)Pie145
  18. First of all I don't really know who Laruto is. Mikau is cool, I read the Majora's Mask manga. Oh, and he has a guitar. -Minish Link 16:04, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
  19. Mikau can do more awesome moves than laruto. Anyone who can do the badass zora energy shield gets my vote. User:DarkLantern1806

  22. Mikau is much more useful in the game. You get his mask(body),gituar, and his fins make useful boomerages.Besides, his story is way more sad than larutos.--User:FaroreForestFairy
  23. Zora Link is my favorite transformation and the bonefish guitar is my favorite instrument. Mikau FTW. TheUltimateHokage88 (talk) 04:42, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

  25. Mikau gave his all to try saving his loved one's children and ended his life in the process. His soul is then involved in an even greater quest to save the land in which his love and all the others of Termina live. He is just epic upon epic. Because of his great valor, Mikau gets my vote. User:Docter Ted
  26. Mikau is actually cool. Laruto was a bit.... boring. Just saying.-- C2 / CC 15:04, February 19, 2010 (UTC)
  27. Mikau because he's an awesome hero and he's really brave, y'know User:Kotsu the EM Wave Hero
  28. Basically what everyone else says. He's a ZORA, He's a GUY, and He's a ROCKSTAR! Best of all, he's LINK. Cybrwulf
  29. I've played both games but I haven't gotten to the part where you met Mikau, but I did watch the scene on youtube. Laruto's story isn't so great, she died, you had to find the new Sage of the Earth (which basically proves the theory of the bird people Ritos I think, haven't played Wind Waker lately are evoled Zoras) and I like Zoras a lot. And the game Mikau came from was really dark and Mikau's story was really sad. He helps save a world, and he helped get his lovers eggs back even if that meant he was risking his life. I just have to go with Mikau, I love his backround story, it's so sweet and dark. FTW! 1. Link transforms into a Zora, girl who couldn't stand up to a big fat ghost. Honestly, what do you think?
  2. Mikau got killed bye protecting everybody and nobody even knows. nobody even knows he is dead when you are zora link everybody is relying on you.
  3. I vote for Mikau, because in my opinion he has the better game and the Zora's Mask was freaking awesome
  4. Obviously Mikau... he's a legend. Best instrument Link's ever played.
  5. Mikau,yeah.
  6. Mikau is more developed than Laruto. I think it is also cool playing as a zora because they are my favorite race.
  7. Mikau has a guitar called the guitar of waves and I have never heard of Laruto
  8. Hard decision, but I have to say Mikau.
  9. MIKAU FOR THE WIN!!!!!!

I for one didn't think this one would turn into an instrument fight. Even though *cough*guitarisbetter*cough*. -Minish Link 16:06, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Guitars are used so much that they end up being a generic and predictable instrument choice to me. Harps are well known, but not nearly as commonly played. I like that in an instrument sometimes. Xykeb Yvolix Zraliv 19:17, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
Well, Harmonix oversaturated the market with Guitar Hero and Rock Band titles and as an effect, guitar games are now facing a recession in sales and popularity. That would explain it. I...think? --AuronKaizer! 19:23, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
Harps are a national symbol of Ireland. I’m not sure how well known that is internationally Oni Dark Link 22:38, February 17, 2010 (UTC)

Week 85: Arwing vs. Chris Houlihan

"Chris Houlihan"
Chris Houlihan

Chris Houlihan

LLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN! We are now proud to present to you the 85th week in the TEMPLE OF COURAGE! All right! And now, programmers and non-cheaters, please leave the stadium, for this week's fight is a bout between two SUPER TOP-SECRET CHARACTERS! Let's meet them!

In the light blue corner, we have a floating space fighter plane! Hailing from outer space (though some say it is from Kokiri Forest), this proud soldier fires lasers, flies very erratically, and explodes in a rather spectacular fashion; This is the AAAARRRRRRRRRRRWING!

And in the light brown corner, we have a telepathic tile. From the planet Earth, this guy won his way into Hyrule, loves blue Rupees, and keeps a mighty good secret; Here is CHRIS HOULIHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

So, two secret, supposedly illegal characters shall now face off in this week's fight, but only one of them will gain rights to stay. Which one will it be? That, my dear voters, is up to you! The sheer amount of cheating needed to bring these two here is getting to me, so LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE! Yeah!

  18. As cool as the Arwing is, in both games, I´m going with Chris, because it was one of the best gifts video game makers can give to their fans. Cameos are cool, but this is almost like a love letter and a homage.--The Gerudo Guy (talk) 21:55, February 11, 2010 (UTC) The Gerudo Guy
  19. If this guy is good enough to be in the hardest zelda game, he got my respect. The Shadow Monarch 125 (talk) 22:45, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
  20. I can find this one without hacking so Chris gets my vote. Docter Ted
  21. i love this glitch. --Leked1 (talk) 21:26, February 12, 2010 (UTC)
  22. I think a glitch is better than outright hacking. I love Star Fox but I hate hacking so this one has my vote. --Hydropanda (talk) 22:28, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Isn't the other one form Star-fox? WELL CHRIS IS SOME HOW ZELDA RELATED!!!Also first vote...
  2. I don't really like to hack my game so I never saw the Arwing, and since Chris was good enough to win himself into Hyrule, he deserves to win another contest as well.

PK, I saw what you did there... --AuronKaizer! 19:05, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

Same. It's way more epic to be a boss in a video game though. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 19:07, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

Uhh, Redeadhunter, I doubt Chris Houlihan is a "kid" anymore. Hmm, would be hilarious or creepy if he is the same Chris87 that we all know of. --AuronKaizer! 16:39, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

Just because your over 18 doesn't mean your not a kid, just look at Tingle.--Redeadhunter 17:21, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
I stand corrected. --AuronKaizer! 17:25, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
If Chris Houlihan was "Chris87", believe me we'd know it. '87' likely wouldn't say it directly, but he would word the Chris Houlihan page to make the guy look like a god. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 20:54, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
Plus he's be what four years old at the time of this games creation (thecnical I know) Oni Dark Link 18:34, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
Oni, you just made my new favourite word ever. "Thecnical" --Stars talk FUN!
