Yellow Potions are recurring Potions in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name reference needed]
Location and uses[]
Phantom Hourglass[]
In Phantom Hourglass, Yellow Potions are the most powerful Potions available, as they restore all of Link's Hearts. Yellow Potions can only be purchased from the Masked Ship for 200 Rupees. This shop ship only appears between 10 AM and noon according to the internal Nintendo DS clock.
Spirit Tracks[]
Yellow Potions in Spirit Tracks function identically as in Phantom Hourglass. They can be bought at the Goron Country Store and the Papuchia Shop for 200 Rupees. Like other Potions in these games, the Yellow Potion comes in its own flask and restores all of Link's Hearts.[2]
A Link Between Worlds[]
In A Link Between Worlds, the Yellow Potion turns Link invincible for a short period of time when drank. More specifically, it turns Link invincible for as long as his energy gague is not empty, but it drains said gague at a rate of about 1 notch every 3 seconds. Link can buy a dose of the Yellow Potion from the Witch's House for 100 Rupees, and by supplying the Witch with 10 Monster Horns. An empty Bottle is also required to store it in.
Spinoff appearances[]
Hyrule Warriors[]
In Hyrule Warriors, Yellow Potions appear as the level 5 equivalent and last of the Bottled Potion items that Warriors take with them into battle, following the Green Potion. It is unlocked after obtaining 50 Illustration Pieces (90 in the Definitive Edition) by slaying Gold Skulltulas. It restores 15 Hearts and one and a half of the Special Attack Gauges. Like other Potions brought into battle, it is automatically refilled for the next battle.
