The Winged Helmet is obtained in the Militron area after defeating Militron. It is used to enable Link to jump higher and longer distances, at the cost of 5 Rubies per use. The helmet's use makes it helpful in jumping over large gaps difficult to cross. It is notably required to jump over a deep chasm in Shipwreck Cliff, as the gap is too wide for regular jumps to cross.
