Characteristics[]
Whip Birds are found at a variety of stations, mostly in the Ocean Realm. They are black-feathered and have pink beaks and legs. Link can latch onto the wooden bars they carry with the Whip and they will carry him in the air along a pre-determined path, often granting access to higher areas that he would otherwise not be able to reach. Whip Birds can be called directly to Link if he plays the Song of Birds.
