The Water Medallion is an item in Ocarina of Time.[1]
Location and Uses[]
The Water Medallion is the Sage Medallion that Link gains after defeating Morpha in the Water Temple.[1] It is given to him by the newly awakened Sage, Princess Ruto.[2]
Trivia[]
- In pre-release versions of Ocarina of Time, the Water Medallion was called the Ice Medal due to the Water Temple originally planned to be ice-themed, and its emblem resembling ice. Equipping it with arrows would have resulted in the Ice Arrows, while its use as a Medallion would have created waves of ice surrounding Link, akin to Din's Fire.[citation needed]
