Hyrule Compendium Entry
Warm Safflinas are found almost entirely in the Gerudo Desert (outside of there: there is one at the base of Satori Mountain, one along the tunnel path to Death Mountain; and one north of & one northwest of the Eldin Mountains). Many Warm Safflinas can be found near the Great Fairy Fountain under the Gerudo Great Skeleton. Meals made in a Cooking Pot using a Warm Safflina will give Link Cold Resistance when eaten.[1] They can also be used at the Kochi Dye Shop to make Orange Dye.
Three Warm Safflinas, in addition to five Red Chuchu Jellies, are needed to upgrade each piece of the Snowquill Set to its first tier.
