Template:Dungeons Moblin Base is the third Level in Tri Force Heroes. It is the third Level of the Woodlands area.

Themes and Navigation

The Moblin Base is a fortress situated within a forest, run by Moblins and various other enemies.

in Stage 1, the Links enter the base's territory from a wooded area next to some cliffs. These cliffs can be climbed by stepping on leaves nearby, which will levitate and carry the Links to the higher ledges. A pair of Bows and a Bomb can be found on the ledges, which are necessary to progress through the Level. After taking all the items, a Triforce Gateway will glow on the other side of a river. This river can be crossed by shooting two Switches next to three statue pillars. The Switches can only be reached by forming a Totem of two Links, then having the second Link fire an Arrow. As the switches are timed, both must be hit quickly, made possible by quickly throwing the second Link to the other side so he can form another Totem with the other Link. Hitting both switches will lower the statues, creating a bridge to the Triforce Gateway.

Stage 2 takes the Links directly outside the base, but they are immediately faced off by a group of Deku Scrubs, electrical Buzz Blobs, as well as Heart Like-Likes. Defeating them all makes stairs appear leading to the top of the fort, where a Triforce Gateway lies. Two of the walls in the north and north-east are cracked, and can be bombed away to reveal chests containing Rupees.

Stage 3 is a densely forested riverside, bridged by log and brick bridges. The Links fight more Buzz Blobs, Deku Scrubs and Heart Like-Likes here, as well as a pair of Moblins closer to the fort walls. The locked gate prevents the Links from entering the fort. On the other side of the second log bridge is a small area where a Switch can be found beneath a grate. This switch can only be hit by placing a Bomb nearby, and having its explosion activate it. This lowers a wall with five switches over the river. The Links must hit all of these timed switches, three of which require a Totem of two Links. Hitting them all makes a platform raise in the river, leading to a ledge where the Links can pick up a dropped Key. The platform requires that the Links form a Totem of three and throw themselves across, so that the third Link can pick up the Key. Link must then throw the Key to the other Links one-by-one, so it can be transported to the gate, which leads to a Triforce Gateway.

Stage 4 takes the Links inside the base, where a group of Moblins challenge them, some of which are riding on Armos statues. Others are standing on the ground or on wooden towers overlooking the battlefield, attacking with throwing spears. The Links must use a combination of the Totem and their items to defeat them. After defeating the Moblins, a staircase leading to the last Triforce Gateway appears.

Drablands Challenges

The Drablands Challenge version of Moblin Base includes the following challenges: Pop all balloons, Defeat all foes without sword, and Transport the orb in time.

In Defeat all foes without sword, the Links must defeat all enemies without using their sword, and instead must rely on the Bombs and Bow. All the enemies in a Stage must be defeated in order to proceed to the next.
