Kakariko Village in BotW

Hi, welcome to Zeldapedia and thank you for your contribution. I have just seen your helpful contribution on Kakariko Village. I have a question for you. I am trying to know with exactitude whether the inhabitants of Kakariko Village in BotW, except Impa of course, are real Sheikah or Hylians who follows Impa and Sheikah's way of life. I cannot check right now, but it seemed that only Impa has red eyes, typical of Sheikah traits, and according to the timeline that follows OoT events, Impa should be the last Sheikah... What do you think? WiseAdventurer (talk) 23:02, March 7, 2017 (UTC)

- Hey hey! Thank you, glad I could help out a bit! :) That's a real good question. I think most of them are Sheikah, because if I recall, there are several villagers who discuss their Sheikah inheritance. An old woman who tends to some trees and the old woman who first greets Link at the entrance to the village come to mind. Almost of the people in Kakariko have silver/grey hair too, which is a Sheikah trait. The eye colour does vary, but I feel like Nintendo did that just to add variance to the race. They did that with some of the Gerudo, for example, as Riju has green eyes which is atypical for the Gerudo. ShiningWaters (talk) 9:25, March 8, 2017

Nice, thank you for your answer. So this would mean that having red-coloured eyes is not really a specific Sheikah trait and Sheikah did not all disappear in OoT but we could guess they were secretly hidden. WiseAdventurer (talk) 17:07, March 8, 2017 (UTC)

- Yeah that would be my guess. There's much more race variation in this game it seems~ ShiningWaters (talk) 10:13, March 9, 2017
