"Did you meet the Rosa sisters, our fellow performers from the troupe? They're twins, too! Can you believe it? I mean, what are the chances? I'd say the chances are about one in a million! No, wait... Make that four in a million!"
— One of the Twins

The Twins are recurring characters in the Legend of Zelda series. They are never officially named in-game, but they mention themselves to be twins. They are almost always seen together and they are identical in appearance, barring the different color of their clothing.

Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The Twins reside in Hyrule Castle Town. Upon Link's first arrival in Hyrule Castle Town, the two are talking about an attempt one of the Twins made on breaking into Hyrule Castle, effectively revealing the way to get ahead to Link. Shortly before Link's arrival, the twin dressed in blue attempted to sneak into the castle to meet Princess Zelda. He sneaked past the Royal Guard, swam through the moat, and tried to crawl through the drain hole on the side of the castle, but he could not enter it due to his size. As a result of this, the castle guards tightened security in the castle. Link later uses this knowledge to his advantage.

When Ganondorf takes over Hyrule, the Twins retreat to Kakariko Village, where they stay in different houses. Here one of the Twins claims to have seen the ghost of the gravekeeper Dampé holding a strange object. The other does not believe him and states that the other Twin is still as hilarious as back in Hyrule Castle Town. After Link completes the Shadow Temple, one of the twins claims that he saw Link descending in a blue light after exiting the temple. Once again, the other twin does not believe him.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

The Twins are jugglers employed by the Gorman Troupe. They are visiting Clock Town to perform their act during the Carnival of Time. They spend their days practicing their juggling in East Clock Town, and at night, they play cards in their room at the Stock Pot Inn. The two are always cracking jokes, and overall seem to be very jolly fellows.
