− | + | are items in TWW. They are used by Link to help him find treasure. Such treasures include Rupees and Pieces of Heart. The treasure is found by using the Grappling Hook in the Great Sea, at the location shown on the map and marked out by a pillar of light which disappears when Link approaches. Once found, the treasure is marked on the Sea Chart, to indicate that the treasure in that square is already found and any unobtained treasures are in another square. There are a total of 41 Treasure Charts in the original game. In addition to the 8 Triforce Charts, the charts account for all 49 islands of the Great Sea. |
|
+ | In TWWHD, five of the Triforce Charts were removed and replaced with Treasure Charts 42-46. The locations of the treasure chests remain unchanged, but they contain Rupees (and, in one case, a Piece of Heart) instead of Triforce Shards. |

Treasure Charts are items in The Wind Waker.[1] They are used by Link to help him find treasure.
In The Wind Waker HD, five of the Triforce Charts were removed and replaced with Treasure Charts 42-46. The locations of the treasure chests remain unchanged, but they contain Rupees (and, in one case, a Piece of Heart) instead of Triforce Shards.
Location and Uses
The charts are numbered in-game, though this order isn't necessarily consistent with location or availability order. The symbol is used to identify the Treasure Charts that appear only in The Wind Waker HD.
