Hyrule Compendium Entry
Traveler's Claymores are two-handed Weapons commonly used by aspiring adventurers.[1] They are hefty enough to knock the Shield out of Enemies' hands.[1] These Claymores can be found abandoned in Hyrule Field and West Necluda. They are also carried by the Swordswomen Statues in the Gerudo Desert.
When scanned with the amiibo Rune, the following amiibos have a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Traveler's Claymore:
- Super Smash Bros. Series Young Link amiibo
- Super Smash Bros. Series Ganondorf amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Link (Ocarina of Time) amiibo
- The Legend of Zelda Series Young Link (Majora's Mask) amiibo
- Breath of the Wild Series Daruk amiibo
Traveler's Claymores, since they are made of metal, will attract Lightning when equipped during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. However, they will sink if they are dropped in Water. They can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune, and they will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
Traveler's Claymores belong to the Traveler's Gear archetype of Weapons, which is used for defense by the travelers of Hyrule Kingdom.[3]
