Trap Doors,(OoT)[1] also known as Door Mimics(TMC)[2] and Doors that Fall Down,(OoT)[3] are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.
Characteristics[]
Ocarina of Time[]
Trap Doors resemble normal Dungeon doors, but fall down when approached by Link, potentially crushing him if he does not move out of the way quickly enough. They can be destroyed with a variety of weapons, including Bombs.
Trap Doors appear in the Fire Temple, the Gerudo Training Ground, and the Spirit Temple. If Link tries to open them, they will wobble for a moment and fall on him. They can be destroyed using Bombs or the Megaton Hammer. Door Mimics can be discerned from regular doors in Ocarina of Time, as they stick out from the wall and the wall behind the bars in the window appears to be made of bricks.
The Minish Cap[]
