The Town of Rauru, also known simply as Rauru, is a location from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. This town is located in Western Hyrule, just to the southeast of the North Castle.

When Link visits the town, he meets a Wise Man who teaches him the Shield Spell. This is the only instance where Link does not have to complete any sort of side-quest in order to gain access to the Old Man's house.

While Princess Zelda and Impa are on their Royal Tour, Ganon attempts to usurp control of the North Palace. To do this he disguises himself as various people and attempts to persuade Link to leave the castle. At one point, Ganon disguises himself as Captain Krin and tells Link that the Town of Rauru is in flames, implying that Link needs to leave the North Palace and go save the town.
