The Legend of Zelda Zone is a free DLC available for the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World. The DLC adds to the game Link's costume for Sonic, items, enemies, and new map inspired by the Legend of Zelda series.

In The Legend of Zelda Zone, players can take Sonic through a single level based entirely on the land of Hyrule. Unlike the game's main levels, the Zelda-themed expansion is much more open. There is an end goal, but no straightforward path to follow. Instead, the openness of the environment encourages players to explore just like one would the overworld in any one of the Zelda games.

The Legend of Zelda Zone borrows many elements from its namesake. For example, the entire map is littered with Rupees. There are also Deku Scrubs and Stalfos ready to attack players who wander too close, Cuccos that, just like in the Zelda games, will eventually fight back if attacked, and plenty of well-known sound effects and jingles. Hyrule Castle looms in the background, and Link will ride by on a Loftwing at key moments. There is even a miniature dungeon that Sonic can explore, Heart Containers, and other surprises.
