Goronu (pronounced /ˈɡɒɹoʊnuː/ GO-roh-noo)[1] is one of the three areas available at the start of Link: The Faces of Evil. It acts as both the game's first dungeon and only shop.
Overview
Here, Link may purchase Bombs, Rope and Lantern Oil here. Goronu is a rocky place where Goronu's face, the area's boss, lies. Morshu's shop is found at the very start of the area, next to a waterfall, in top of a small bridge. There is also a great red bridge, filled with Dairas. All the items that Morshu sells are used here.
To get inside Goronu's face, the Link must destroy a boulder that blocks the entrance using a bomb. The dungeon interior is lighted up by using the lantern while Link has enough lamp oil and climbing up a higher floor with the ropes. Here, Link finds Goronu, who attacks the young hero with fire spells and drops the Bell after his defeat. Harlequin Bazaar can be accessed once Crater Cove is completed.
