Template:Lead too long

This article's lead section is too long.

It contains unnecessary details that should be moved to the main body of the article.

Purpose

This template is used to flag a lead that contains information best left to the main body.

Articles tagged with this template are added to Category:Inadequate lead sections.

Usage

To use this template, type the following at the top of the page:

or to sort by category:

    {{Lead too long|Category (Optional) }}

• Category — Determines how the page sorts itself in Category:Inadequate lead sections. For example, entering "A" causes the page to be sorted among articles beginning with the letter "A". Entering "nocat" suppresses categorization of the page.
