"Teach Me a Lesson I and II" are a series of Side Quests in Tears of the Kingdom.
Overview[]
Part 1 (I)[]
Symin is teaching children at the school of Hateno Village about history of The Calamity. However the children are too disinterested believing Symin's lecture. Admitting the dullness of the lesson, Symin may elaborate into detail if he had a reference relating to the Calamity, which all the way back in his hometown Kakariko Village.
Link, who was there observing the class, decided to help with Symin's lecture. He went all the way to Kakariko Village to find anything relating to The Calamity. He found a painting of it in the Chief's house and took a picture on his Purah Pad. He then brought the picture to the classroom and showed it to the children, delighting them.
With the children now intrigued, Symin was able to finish his history lesson about the Calamity. He thanked Link for the assist and gave him 10 Hylian Rice. He then proceeds to teach the class the next lesson.
Part 2 (II)[]
Symin's teaches a lesson about home economics. He lectures to the students about cooking food. He gives a student a question involving Hylian Rice and Monster Extract,[1] but they were unable to answer the question due to lack of insight.[2] He corrected the answer results in Monster Curry,[3] but the students were unable to believe him due to the complexity of the lecture.[4]
To prove what Symin meant, Link heads to a Cooking Pot to use Monster Extract to cook the aforementioned Monster Curry. Then he brought it to the children as proof. The children tasted the curry and found it surprisingly tasty. Having believed the monster extract, Symin was able to finish his lecture.
Symin thanked Link for the assist again. With the students now looking up to Link at lessons, Symin gives him access to the school's field where he can use it to cultivate plants.

Part 1 (I)[]

Part 2 (II)[]

1 | Symin is teaching his students how to use food to survive in a dangerous world. He wants his students to eat monster curry, made with Goron spice, Hylian rice, and monster extract. He says that for monster extract, you'll have to go to Tarrey Town, north of Hateno Village. |
Complete | You made monster curry and served it to the children as part of a lesson that they can cook using monster extract. Having been accepted as a teacher at the Hateno school, you now have permission to use the school's field. |
