The Tawa Jinn Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Tawa Jinn's Blessing,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Tawa Jinn Shrine is located atop the eastern side of Mount Taran, above the Taran Pass in East Necluda. Initially, Tawa Jinn Shrine is buried underground, and must be uncovered by completing the Shrine Quest "The Three Giant Brothers". To access the Ancient Shrine, Link must gather three Ancient Orbs from the three Hinox brothers on Mount Taran and place their corresponding Orbs into their respective pedestals. Upon doing so, the Tawa Jinn Shrine will rise from the ground, allowing Link access.

As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Tawa Jinn, who states that merely being able to enter the Shrine is proof of Link's worth.[2]

Themes and Navigation

Tawa Jinn Shrine features no puzzles, simply a direct path to Tawa Jinn. Along this path is a Treasure Chest containing a Great Thunderblade. As Link approaches Tawa Jinn, he will give Link a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[3] and will wish Link well before fading away.[4]
