Shield from Spirit Tracks

Personally, I don't think that the Shield from Zelda: Spirit Tracks is composed of wood. At least in the European Version of the Game (with the Language set to 'German' ), it is simply called "Shield", also, it does not have a wooden look to me. What do you think? Yeah, it doesn't really look like it's made from wood. I haven't played the game, so...what's the shield called in the American version? We usually go by the names of the American version, so that's why. Also, please remember to sign your posts using ~~~~ at the end of your talk page posts. Isn't that the shield Colin is seen with in the credits of TP?
