:Hmm...well, it does sort of list the reasons after that ("mainly because of..."), and even with references, but yeah, maybe it's not worded in the best possible way. ;p They certainly could be rewritten to sound more professional. Don't be afraid to fix things up as you see fit! :) I mean...if you want, haha. XD [[User:Dany36|Dany36]] 03:01, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

::Sorry, I may have worded myself poorly. While it does give "a" reference, it links to what appears to be a fan-created commentary. I'm new here and don't know the specific rules of this wiki, so I'm not sure whether this source counts as credible or not, or even if that's what we're looking for. It's just that.... even if the reference ''was'' 100% credible, it's still one dude's opinion, and the wording makes it sound like a common consensus. And thanks for making me feel more welcome here, I'm just not sure whether I'm off base or not.--[[User:PJDEP|PJDEP]] 03:35, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

:::Oh...I see. To be honest, I didn't really check the reference link, but...ah, it's from Destructoid, which in my opinion, isn't one of the most...err...credible sources. Template:TOC Expanded the Story/Plot sections. I think it would be best for an organized effort to be made to make item sections look cleaner, too. -- Lex

Possible addition of several items (links to the already created items from windwaker)

Took out statement about WW being the first game not "temporally" (I don't even think that's a word) independant of the others. this is incorrect, Majora's Mask was the first game directly related to another; it is clear that the child Link from MM and OoT are the same.

Timeline

TWW is on a seperate timeline from TP. TP shows signs of being set in a world where Link warned Zelda of the danger of Ganondorf (at the end of OoT, when he goes back in time), and TWW shows signs of being from the future Link left (for example, the stainglass images of the six sages in the Master Sword chamber and the second Deku Tree) Template:Nosig

I also think that TWW is supposed to be a sequel to ALttP, and not OoT. Many things in ancient Hyrule resemble that from ALttP's Hyrule. Such as Ganon's Tower and the bridge leading to the castle. Template:Nosig

I find it strange that Ganons return is so strange due to his return in TP. He was also stabbed through the heart with the Blade of Evil's blade in TP, meaning he shouldn't even be alive. Template:Nosig

That kinda...no that really makes no sense, you think you can explain yourself better?...also I'm pretty sure ALttP is set after TP...but who cares.--Remo 18:47, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

I think that Eponasowner was under the assumption that TWW and TP take place on the same timeline, hence the confusion. --Ando (T) 14:55, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure that TWW is on a separate timeline from the others, however, the intro in TWW and the interview leads me to accept that, maybe TP, though released later, happened before TWW. And, Eponasowner, remember, though you may have stabbed Gannon in the heart in TP, but you also stab him in the forehead and turn him to stone in TWW. Gannondorf never "dies;" he only gets sealed away, waiting for the time when that seal fails. --Unionhawk 22:29, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

TWW is on the Adult timeline, TP is on the Child timeline. So really when they happened in regards to each other is irrelevant in most situations, given that their events don't correspond with each other. --Ando 22:43, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Second Quest

Is there anywhere on the page that would be a good place to put what happens if you replay the story after defeating Ganon-for example, on the given Orange file with the Triforce symbol on it, in the beginning Link is given "invisible Hero's Clothes" (with some funny dialogue), Aryll's dress is different, etc. ZeldaGirl96 13:58, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Wait, it's not already on there? Sure, go on ahead. Make a section called "Second Quest" or something (that is its official name) somewhere lower on the page with the necessary info. User:Ando/sig 17:18, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Subjectivity

Reading through this article, I have to say that I find quite a large portion of it to be incredibly subjective. Statements like "Wind Waker is actually one of the most emotional games" would be better written as "because of x, y and z, Wind Waker could be considered one of the most emotional Zelda games". I don't want to offend anyone, but it seems like these portions of the article were written by an overly-defensive Wind Waker fan boy. Does anyone agree?--PJDEP 01:38, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Improved 'n' Reloaded, BUT.....

I have added new sections, and reorganized others into a new section. The article looks better now. But it's now 39 kilobytes long (!!!), so some browsers might have trouble to load this article. If only there was a way to break the info into smaller sections..... --K2L 20:04, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Don't worry about it too much, the Princess Zelda article is 59 KB long, so this isn't too bad. :P Also, lemme take this opportunity to congratulate you on the excellent job you've been doing improving the games articles! Keep up the AWESOME work! :) Dany36 20:20, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Sources tag

One of the things that I noticed is that there is a sources tag on the controversy regarding the graphics. It would be difficult to find a source specifically mentioning the state of the fanbase circa 2001, considering that most of the evidence would be from comments and forum posts that have long since been deleted. This seems to be a common knowledge thing, considering that anyone who was a fan in 2001 would remember the large amount of backlash the graphics got. Ganondorfdude11 04:38, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Although understandable, that's why I tagged it; at this point, it's necessary to remember that not all fans have been around since then. Quite a few have recently been picked up with titles such as Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass, and are unfamiliar with the controversy revolving around the toon-ish graphics. Quite simply put, I argue that they are needed as both a reference, and an example. The longer we wait before obtaining at least screenshots of said message boards, the harder it will be to find them in the future. However, if none are found, then so be it. It's quite a bold statement to make, for having no sources. It would never fly in a group where the main members or editors weren't so familiar with the games or their history. An odd setting...

While reading through the Wind Waker page, I read the first paragraph of the Setting section and it said, 'The game is set in the Great Sea.... Greatfish Isle used to be inhabited by Hylians as well and guarded by the sea spirit Jabun until Ganondorf nuked it and cast a curse on the entire Grat Sea.' Did anyone notice that bit about Ganondorf nuked Greatfish Isle and cursed the entire 'Grat' Sea? DarkNut99 16:30, 20 September 2010 (EDT)

Grat Sea? Must be a typo. I'm going to fix it. However, when you see things like these, try to fix them yourself, okay? It's your task as an user =) --User:K2L/sig 00:29, 21 September 2010 (EDT)
