I'd say Stone Slab, with a redirect from Stone Slab Fragment to it. No one is going to search for Stone Slabs and Fragments. I did create these pages... What's the point of this article?

These items are pretty much Owl Statues, as they function exactly the same, and their replacements in the DX version was pretty much a reskin of sorts. I don't think they're noteworthy enough to have their own article. Owl Statues have their article, which is much more complete than this one, making this one redundant. The Longshot and Giant's Knife don't have their own articles despite presenting differences (gameplay-wise) from the Hookshot and Biggoron Sword respectively. How about merging this article with the Owl Statue article, mentioning this item in the LA section and pointing out that it's the predecessors to Owl Statues? - Dere 17:41, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

I've never played the original Link's Awakening, so I don't whether the Stone Slabs and Owl Statues are similar enough to be a part of the same article. From what I've seen, they appear to be pretty much the same in terms of function, location and hints given. If this is the case, then yes, I think a merge and a mention would be a good idea.
