Xykeb Zraliv– 10. And the family of thieves sat together to dine in the house of the Bridgekeeper that was the Mind of the Bridgekeeper, and the wrath of the house fell upon them. TALK– it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts
I kind of think that this should be a disamiguation page, since people are more likely to simply put "Slingshot" than "Fairy Slingshot" when searching for the Ocarina of Time item.
So you do. Nope, no can do. It's the official name of an item...
Xykeb Zraliv– 4. There was the Spying Thief, who came to the house of the Bridgekeeper to learn the secrets of the Prince and of the Order, a pawn of masters who would pervert the glorious scheme of the King. TALK– it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts
We could just put "Slingshot (Twilight Princess)" for the one from Twilight Princess and "Fairy Slingshot" for the one from Ocarina of Time under the disambiguation page (or something to that effect). I'm just saying, half the people searching "Slingshot" will be looking for the Fairy Slingshot.
If that's what you consider to be a good way of doing things, you've missed the point of ZP's disambiguation system. In order for this to qualify as a disambiguation page, the Ocarina of Time item would have to have the same name, on the dot. The note on top of the page already does the job here.
Xykeb Zraliv– 3. “What is this Tree that blights our land of constructed things? We will not allow such majesty that was not built by us.” TALK– it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts
Alright, so it's a bad idea, and yes, maybe I didn't quite get it. But seriously, do you have to talk about how I'm "missing the point"? I was just making a harmless suggestion, and all you needed to talk about was the disambiguation system, not how I'm "missing the point".
AuronKaizer - "Well, it got so that every ticked-off prairie punk who thought he could shoot a gun would ride into town to try out the Waco Kid. I must have killed more men than Cecil B. DeMille. It got pretty gritty. I started to hear the word "draw" in my sleep. Then one day, I was just walking down the street when I heard a voice behind me say, "Reach for it, mister!" I spun around... and there I was, face-to-face with a six-year old kid. Well, I just threw my guns down and walked away. Little bastard shot me in the ass! So I limped to the nearest saloon, crawled inside a whiskey bottle... and I've been there ever since." TALK - THE LIST - GAMES - PIT OF RECKONING - SANDBOX - WALRUS GUMBOOT
Just pointing out that you've obviously missed it.
Xykeb Zraliv– 3. “But through ill deeds and unpious living, the Aspects become tarnished, and with this tarnish my name shall never be known, and the trinity will be cast forever into the dark ocean between our lands. TALK– it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts
Right, so what about the disambiguation page on Twilight Princess, which talks about both the game and Midna? Sure, the game's subtitle is Twilight Princess, and Midna is indeed the Twilight Princess, but they don't have the same name at all. Maybe I've missed the point, but there's a pretty good example that may have misled me.
Not sure if I'm the only one who noticed this, but every link relating to the Hyper Slingshot from Oracle of Seasons directs me to this page, which has absolutely no mention of the Slingshot in OoS. Grounogeos 00:20, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
