Race

Why should it be categorized as a race?--Herbsewell 02:15, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Because they are group of individual people who look the same, just like gorons and zora. - solar flute

In the explanation of the possible creation the the Skull Kids, what is "the Deku claim that getting lost will turn someone into one of them" referring to? Another Deku, Stalfos, or Skull Kid?

I though Hylians turned to Stalfoses.

I was under the impression than Kokiri turn in Skull Kids and Hylians turn into Stalfos. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.

It says so in one of these articles. I read it on this site. So it's kinda contradicting itself.

Are Skull Kids are race? If they are, to which species do they belong?
Are e.g. Kokiris and Skull Kids different races belonging to the same species, i.e. can a Kokiri and a Skull Kid make children?

Should we do away with the "Notable members" section and just include an "Appearances" section?

I think so. After all, there are only three confirmed skull kids, and the one from OoT may be the same as the one from MM.

Just fixed it. How's that? Also, I think we need a quote. Maybe something one of the Kokiri says about the Skull Kid?

I just need some quote or something that states that the Kokiri become Skull Kid when lost in the wood. Ive changed it to lost children, but was reedited to "mainly Kokiri". What I know about the subject is that the people who get lost in the forest become monsters (mainly Stalfos) but Navi just says when z-targeted Skull Kid, that that is what may happen when kids get lost. My theory always was that the Kokiri didn't get lost because they have their fairy or because the protection of the Deku Tree.
pretty sure that its Kokiri, but i might have read to quickly and it might have been just regular children. ill check tommorow.--C2 Phantom Zant 01:57, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Some quotes

"That guy isn't here anymore. Anybody who comes into the forest will be lost. Everybody will become a Stalfos. Everybody, Stalfos. So, he's not here anymore. Only his saw is left. Hee hee."
— Fado
"They say that when non-fairy folk enter the Lost Woods, they become monsters!"
— Lost Woods Gossip Stone
"Is this what happens to kids who wander into the forest? It looks like he doesn't like grownups."
— Navi

Why do we have that theory about Skull Kids and Imp Poes? Imp Poes were made a long time after Skull Kids.
That doesn't mean that the theory isn't valid. -Isdrakthul (67.102.173.233 22:39, April 26, 2010 (UTC))

Yeah, but honestly, I really don't see any connection. Imp Poes are Poes, which have always been like that. The Skull Kid is a Skull Kid,(obviously) and Skull Kids have also always been like this as well. But I guess it really doesn't matter, theres a lot of theories, and I actually could be wrong about he theory. But who put it there anyway, well I guess now is the time for me to check.
Imp Poes haven't necessarily "always been like that". The theory is that Imp Poes are the ghosts of Skull Kids. -Isdrakthul (67.102.173.233 03:51, April 28, 2010 (UTC))

I thought if adults got lost in the woods, they turned into Stalfos and non-fairy kids into Skull Kids.

Group as a race?

Hey ya!,
that user (I know you don't like him and I hate him) ruined the german version of this article. He said: Skull Kids weren't a race and I don't know, why do we call them a "race". I can understand that this article is under the Category:Race, 'cause we must attach these articles, right ?! Can you please explain me why you called this article Skull Kid (Race) and do we have any reasons ? I don't mind that this article is named in parantheses "Race". I want just ask, because I need an explanation, before that guy (or another airhead like him) comes back again. And if you ask me, yes, I've already blocked that guy, you know why, I guess... Der Kerl hat bei uns auch blödsinn gebaut. Anyway, feel free and answer on my disc. page, if you want... Greetings, --Ludgerus. (talk) 00:11, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

Your english is confusing.. but the reason it's a race it's because a group of creatures with similar characteristics can be considered a race. There are three Skull Kids in Ocarina of Time. So technically could be more Sandubadear (talk) 01:22, August 10, 2013 (UTC)
