Merge[]

Once again, I am requesting a merge, this time to plant the Onox's Castle article into the Northern Peak article. Not only are they both located on the same plot of land in Oracle of Seasons, in the maps of Oracle of Seasons it treats both regions as one under Northern Peak, since, in essence, they are. Onox's Castle exists inside and is part of the Northern Peak, and because of this and the above remarks, the Onox's Castle article should exist inside the Northern Peak one. Plus, they are both stubby, and would complement each other through assimilation. — ciprianotalk 04:51, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

  1. Makes sense to me, I can only see Onox's Castle on the Northern Peak page. Tricky part is the article name; bc As far as I know Onox's Castle is conjectural, but Northern Peak is actually the in-game name of the area. I trust you'll work it out.Axiomist (talk)
  2. Yup, merge. • Pete | 12:47, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
  3. Merge under Onox's Castle. It has more references in the game and is essentially the only major location in the Northern Peak area.Ganondorfdude11 19:45, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Nah man, though I see your logic, it would be awkward to merge the other way around, considering Onox's Castle exists inside the Northern Peak. It is part of it, and hence should be explained as part of the region, references aside. Of course the section on it should go into detail about the Castle being a dungeon, but for the overall merge, that is what should be done, I believe. — ciprianotalk 20:32, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, actually I could see it either way: the Northern Peak article asimilated into the Onox's Castle article would keep the Northern Peak section from becoming an awkward sentence description as compared to the large Castle section below it. Thoughts? — ciprianotalk 05:47, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

I think it would be best to have them kept separate. Onox's Castle is Onox's Castle. It wouldn't be a fellony to keep the page and merge Northern Peak into it, but just because they're on the same "plot of land" doesn't make a difference. Also, more info could be added to the O'sC page. Alter  {T C B H } 05:50, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

Yea, if any merge is going to be done, I'm leaning more towards making the Onox's Castle the focus article in a practical sense. — ciprianotalk 06:21, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

  1. Not only is Onox's Castle not a conjectural title, but it is a dungeon located in the Northern Peak area. The article covers the dungeon, not the region it is located in. This would be like merging Ganon's Tower and Death Mountain.Ganondorfdude11 19:41, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
