Fan Image

I'm not sure, but could this picture be put somewhere about the site? I don't know why, it's not anything near canon, but... :P Krizzy 00:47, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

You are welcome to put a picture like that on your userpage. However, as far as the wiki goes, the picture has no serious relevance to the series (haha!), and thus does not belong anywhere in the mainspace, let alone anywhere but a userpage. That cat sure is cute though. — ciprianotalk 03:12, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Getting Started

So I am kinda new and how do I make a user page I read the help guide on getting started but am still a little confused. sorry if this doesn't go here like I said I joined just last night —Preceding unsigned comment added by Theif 1@legacy41963495 (talk) 18:52, 28 May 2011 (UTC)

Errors

The wiki continues to be ridden with numerous errors, such as general failure in some of the templates, and many of the articles, including skyward sword and skeikiah stone, are often unavailable. Is this related to the server upgrade, or is it something new? --Ganondox (U) (T) (C) 13:52, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, we apologize for the inconvenience. We're having problems with the server and we're trying to fix everything as soon as possible. Try refreshing the page if the article seems to be unavailable or has weird coding on it. Once again, sorry! D: Thank you for your understanding. Dany36 19:32, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
I hope you guys are not having a hard time. If people get curious about SS they will be disappointed :( Kajaladorf 17:38, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

Main Page Disappearing

Is the news breaking the home page? It seems like every time there's a new news story, more and more of the main page disappears. Now pretty much everything has vanished except for the news. I can't search for anything and the navigation on the left side is completely missing. I only managed to get to the talk page by manually typing it out in the URL. Jo the Marten(Shriek) ಠ_ಠ 08:10, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Yes, the RSS feed broke the Main Page. It should be better now, since the newer posts pushed the broken post out. The source of the problem has been found, and steps are being taken to prevent it from happening again. We apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  10:52, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Hm, doesn't seem any different to me yet. But good luck with getting the issue fixed. :) Jo the Marten(Shriek) ಠ_ಠ 13:38, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Image Maps Not Working

This has been bugging me for a while. It seems like since the server move, all the image maps have suddenly stopped functioning. I tried to take a look and see if I could fix them but I'm not sure what the problem is. Have we updated to the new image map type? SMASHBROTHER101 13:56, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

As I understand it, the problem with the imagemap extension is one that can only be solved from the server end. We've been trying to get a hold of Jason so we can get this fixed, but nothing has come of it yet. Rest assured the staff is just as frustrated as you are and we're doing everything we can to get this fixed. Unfortunately, without Jason, who currently owns ZW's server, we can't do much. — Hylian King [*] 01:25, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Masterminds Zoom Error

The masterminds section on the first screen is kind of uh... out of the screen. I have to zoom out all the way to 25% to even see any of the headlines.... Which really sucks because it work just yesterday, not only that it`s how I get my Zelda news...Steahl 01:26, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Could you provide us a screenshot of how it looks for you? Also, what browser (and version) are you using? Dany36 04:10, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
Oh I guess I got worried for nothing. It was probably my computer because it's working fine now. I will keep my eyes on it though. Steahl 20:47, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Skyward Sword Release Date Countdown

Time Zone Error

The most states in europe have the CET (central european time). The countdown here is for the WET (west european time), which is just use in 3 states in europe (britain, irland and portugal).
here is a map
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/71/Time_zones_of_Europe.svg
I think we should change the countdown to cet.--Soran 23:19, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

I never knew one hour made that much difference, especially since most shops aren't open past midnight anyway. :P Still, you're right, and the timer will be changed. — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  10:17, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Inaccurate Time Remaining

The count down says its 8 days left to the realese of Skyward Sword in Europe, but its 9 days here in Europe . . . Its the 9th November, and 9+9=18. Can someone change it? Wolf Link95 —Message time was unrecorded by author; message posted on 21:23, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

No... Because it's perfectly correct. Unless where you are it's 0:00am than no. Here is how it works. Here is the math:
The games release date: 20th November. Date 12th. So some would say it's 8 days until the game is released right? But that's incorrect unless it is 0hours and the game is release at midnight. But in reality it's 9:52am. To end the day you need 14:08 hours. At that point it's the 13th. So the timer is set at 7 days 14:08 hours to go. Sorry if my phrase structure is terrible... I hope someone can fix this explaination. Steahl 14:51, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, now I understand! Wolf Link95 20:00, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
I am glad you understood what I wrote xP. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Steahl 20:03, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

Negative Time

You're still counting down for the European release of Skyward Sword, and now the main page displays negative amounts of time … You should get rid of Europe's countdown. Elink42 02:05, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the reminder. It's down now. — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  03:31, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Okay guys, it's been two days since the release of Skyward Sword in Australia, and the main page still hasn't been updated. The countdown is now listing the days as -2. It needs updating. The Goron Moron 03:05, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
Good catch, GM. I've turned the countdown into a statement-like announcement. The entire template will be removed come the 1st of the year - by that time, Skyward Sword will have had a month in stores and the hype will have died down. — ciprianotalk 05:55, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

Multiple Demon Lords

I realize this is the wrong place to put this, but I can't think of a better place...
Prior to release, I recall seeing dialogue by Ghirahim such as "She is of no use to us" or "We" etc. There were plenty of other pieces of dialogue that strongly suggests that Ghirahim is merely A demon lord, not THE demon lord.
This is further evidenced by the title sequence where you can see Ghirahim's stylized silhouette among 5 others, with the imprisoned in the center.
Therfore, I feel that a page for "Demon Lords" as a group should be made Jabberwock xeno 01:37, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Given recent information, the only two "Demon Lords" in Skyward Sword are Ghirahim and Demise/The Imprisoned, so creating a "Demon Lord" page may end up as an unnecessary redundancy. We have no information on the other three "Demon Lords" referenced in the game's introduction, so we can't even speculate as to who/what they would be. What we can do is make a disambiguation for "Demon Lord" and link to both Ghirahim and Demise in it. — ciprianotalk 05:59, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

New Main Page

If you have any comments regarding the update, you can add them below! — Abdul [T] [C] [S]  18:43, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Shouldn't we have kept the links to the stuff like hyrule castle? I go to hyrule castle almost all the time and it gets annoying to type "zelda wiki:hyrule castle" when I want to get there. --Person777 20:56, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
I like the changes that have been made. There are still some awkward blank spaces underneath the trivia, the featured article, etc. Also, Zelda Temple redirects to LegendZelda now, so the Masterminds should probably be updated... BrandedOne 02:25, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
I've found that the link for Items in Lttp under the Lttp tab leads to Items in Zelda 1. Its simply a linking error but it still should be fixed. Dekublast. Glitch Seeker 17:26, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
Guys, thanks for the input! We're looking into it and should have fixes up soon! Stay on the lookout for more bugs! — ciprianotalk —Message time was unrecorded by author; message posted on 19:11, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
Small problem, the link under the Adventure of Link tab for 'enemies' links to the enemies page for the first game, rather than the enemies page for Zelda II. Lord Linebeck —Message time was unrecorded by author; message posted on 12:01, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for letting us know, it has been fixed! :) --Dany36 16:15, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Another thing... under 'Places' for the Adventure of Link tab, it says Darunai instead of Darunia. Ekim 16:43, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Fixed. — Hylian King [*] 18:36, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
