Template:Enemy Mau is the Japanese name for an otherwise unnamed enemy in The Adventure of Link.
These enemies appear only in certain Palaces and resemble floating versions of the wolf-head decorations adorning some of the Palace corridor walls. They float steadily and regularly move up and down, spewing blue fireballs at Link. They endlessly spawn at certain points of the palace.
Etymology
Mau is Portuguese for bad or evil, but it might be just a coincidence, because it is a short word.
