Is this guy really a deity? I thought that he, Jabu-Jabu and some others were Guardian Spirits, a sort of mid-level between mortal and god. Should there be a new category, or am i out of the water? //Khanson

He is a deity. Deities in the Zelda universe consist of the highest creator god, i.e. (Nayru, Din, Farore). Mid-level gods i.e (Zephos, Cyclos, Goddess of the Sand), and guardian spirits i.e. (Great Deku Tree, Valoo, Lord Jabu-Jabu).
Was this ever said in-game or by any Nintendo resource, or is someone just making things up?
