To apply the speed glitch in Oracle of Seasons, the Poison Moth's Lair does not need to be completed. The only requirement is that the floodgates be opened and the dungeon entered. (Bobinstein 18:45, 25 November 2011 (EST))

As soon as I entered Hero's Cave in an Oracle of Ages Linked Game and I checked the map and it said I was in the Ancient Tomb. --Planetbox 14:30, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Ricky's glitch in OoS[]
Just tried this:
Inability to Obtain Ricky's Flute
In a linked game where Ricky was chosen as the animal partner in Oracle of Ages, it is possible to be unable to obtain Ricky's Flute by going to Blaino's Gym and defeating Blaino before speaking with Ricky. After returning Ricky's Gloves, Ricky will not speak his dialogue about giving Link his flute, nor will he give him Ricky's Flute. Because Ricky was chosen in the previous game, Moosh and Dimitri will not appear, and since the player did not obtain Ricky's Flute, it is impossible to reach the Subrosia Portal in Spool Swamp, and subsequently making the game unbeatable.
And this is untrue. I rescued Zelda in the linked OoS, then went straight to Blaino, got Ricky's gloves and then went to Ricky. I talked to Ricky and he said that Blaino had his gloves.
