Xykeb Zraliv– 4. “And across the Bridge the King shall come to bring his message to the Men of Technology. Through you, Child, the Bridge will come, and thus I name you the Bridgekeeper.” TALK– it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts
Hang on. Is that quote for real? I thought the Happy Mask Salesman only commented on your masks when you were wearing them. And I'm pretty sure you can't wear the Giant's Mask in the Clock Tower.
Solar flute– The secret of the Bulblins, parachutes. TALK– why don't they put guardrails on that stupid bridge
I haven't played MM, so i'm not sure, but I think you can where it, it just won't have any effect whatsoever.
Xykeb Zraliv– 5. Then for ten score years this was so, the King allowed the races of Man and Demon to exist as they saw fit, and on the eight-and-twentieth day of every seventh month the King’s heart was hardened by what he saw in the land of Technology, and the subjects of the land of Magick would be quick to gladden him with offerings. TALK– it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts
I'm not entirely sure, but I'm pretty sure you can't wear it at all except in Twinmold's room.
AuronKaizer - "It's not pining, it's passed on! This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! This is a late parrot! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies! It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot!" TALK - THE LIST - GAMES - PIT OF RECKONING - SANDBOX - WALRUS GUMBOOT
That's true, but it can be found in dumps of the game's script. So it seems like it was originally intended to be worn as a regular mask as well, to display it to the Happy Mask Salesman, and maybe for use in other locations? But since it's not really "in the game", as such, I think we should remove it and make a note of its appearance in the script.
It would seem this quote is exclusively from text dumps, and cannot be accessed in-game. Would it not make more sense to use a quote that actually can happen? It's not an amazingly awe inspiring quote right now anyway. Possibilities include:
It seems the Giant's Mask was dormant in Stone Tower Temple... -Lunar Gossip Stone
You got the Giant's Mask! Within this mask lies the might of a giant, but can you use its power anywhere? -Item acquisition text
|Giant's Mask| If you wear it in a certain room, you'll grow into a giant. -Menu description
I'd recommend one of the first two. The first sounds more mysterious, which is appropriate for the mask. The second is more descriptive of it. And yeah, I know the wording for who gave the quote isn't like it would be on an actual page, I'm just being specific.--FierceDeku 10:25, January 23, 2011 (UTC)
ONLY Mask with no ending scene?
Is this really the only mask in the entire game that does not effect the ending should you not acquire it? I find that difficult to believe.--FierceDeku 10:31, January 23, 2011 (UTC)
It is something I've wondered about myself and have thought about checking before (but you know the effort and all that jazz). I can't recall any scenes in the credits that would be attributed to it. Why don't you check it out? You still have all those save states don't you, why not finish the game without it and see what happens. If its the issue of other masks aside from this one not having a scene in the credits i can't recall any. Most of the other masks are given to Link by other characters in important locations which the credits shows but I could be wrong OniDark Link 17:52, April 20, 2011 (UTC)
Eh, I don't know, if there was some information about which thing came into existence first, I'd be more inclined not to disregard it outright. --AuronKaizer! 19:40, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
Regarding which came first, Majora's Mask is older than the Bionicle line of toys by several months, much less some random object within its universe. -- 1337star (Owl Post) 20:12, March 24, 2012 (UTC)
