So, what the article is basically saying is that Forest Haven is actually Kokiri Forest, and the Deku tree now is the one that was planted in Ocarina of Time, but not the Original one. And the Original is the Forbidden Woods, right? I just want to see if I'm understanding it correctly, thanks.
The big outer tree that makes up the Forest Haven was once the original Great Deku Tree we met back in OOT, while the current Deku Tree is the Deku Tree Sprout that began growing in OOT. The Forbidden Woods were once the Lost Woods/Kokiri Forest, because the Koroks state that they once lived in the Forbidden Woods and you can see traces of the Lost Woods in the Forbidden Woods.

Which leads to the belief that the kokiri people evolved into koroks, right? Mmkay, I get it now. thanks.
Ah but 2 problems with that. One is how did the sprout get inside the great tree. 2 the size difference between the tree in Oot and WW is enourmous. Only idea i've got for the second one is that over the thousands of years everyone evolved into a smaller size in order to need less food in a less friendly enviorment so the tree is bigger by comparison.

Wasn't the first dungeon in Zelda Oot inside the deku tree? Hmm.And then again, the deku tree wasn't high enough to have survived the flood. I think maybe they planted a new one, because the Lost woods was high enough in my opinion to be Forbiden Woods. Whatever. This is difficult, and is only making my headache worse, therefore I am done.
