Colors?[]

Why are the water tetike and the Soldier/darknut gold/yellow? They are blue in my DX version...--Magnus orion 18:02, 2 April 2008 (EDT)

I haven't beaten Link's Awakening yet, but I'd assume that it's because quite often in 2D Zelda games, there are multiple colors of enemies, i.e. Red AND blue Octoroks, red and blue Leevers, etc. --Ando (T : C) 18:25, 2 April 2008 (EDT)

Yeah I know... Links Awakening is the one I'm most farmiliar with and... This is a rare case where that isn't the case. I don't know of any color changes for enemies besides the zol/gels, and the green and red ones are technically entirely different enemeies... However, I think the pictures are colored this way from the OoA or OoS games, which have the same exact look and featured different color enemies, so it would have to be fixed (if possible) for the interest of those enemies respective articles when related to LA? if images are not available, they are better than nothing at all, right? But I may be mistaken, since a lot on LA sources directly contradict my expreince, as I have mentioned on other pages, so I am cautious when addressing information about the game. Actually, so of the other enemies also appear to be from OoA and OoS as well, such as the Wizzrobe(which is green in LA, but I'm not sure if this one ever changes color as I am about the knights and water tetikes)--Magnus orion 18:45, 2 April 2008 (EDT)

Many of these images came from ZU, and the colours confused me too. But yeah, I'd say they're better than nothing! --Adam 14:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

What's the general opinion on this page? Personally, I think it's a great visual guide/index for someone who hasn't played the game, or doesn't know what an enemy is called. I'm considering making more, maybe starting with ALttP (I think we have most of the sprites available now). Any comments or suggestions? --Adam 14:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Excellent, sir, although I'm a little concerned with how well this would work for the 3D games. Maybe just small-ish in-game images of each of the enemies? --Ando (T) 03:13, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, 3D is a separate issue - larger images would make for a slower load time. However, see here for a working example. What concerns me with both is the ordering/arrangement of the images. I kinda just placed them wherever I thought they fit best visually, bearing in mind that that we already have alphabetical lists in the categories. Any suggestions on a better ordering? Order of appearance would be cool, but highly subjective and difficult to do. Maybe subdivisions by type (but what types?) or locations (dungeon/overworld/both)? --Adam 16:51, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm editing all the images for Link's Awakening but I'm finding this page to be more complicated than usual. Although I've honestly only spent a few minutes and couldn't figure it out. I'm getting rid of the old LA enemy sprites and adding the 3x ones that I've added at a similar guide at my own site. Helps make it better, more complete, more consistent, and gets rid of crappy old images.Mases 08:01, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
