- well just a thought. if that's how it works, then excuse my ignorance. --C2 12:37, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
How should we go about doing things for the Clawshots of Skyward Sword? They're referred to by a different name. It kinda goes against what we regularly do to turn this into a recurring item article. --AuronKaizer! 23:47, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
- I asked this about the Bug-Catching Net and Bug Net the other day. Someone brought up a good point that we have the Pegasus Boots and Pegasus Shoes on the same page since they are implied to be the same thing. I think if they are the implied to be the same item, we should maybe put them on the same article. I really don't know for sure though. We surely have counter examples to this somewhere. I don't know why Nintendo can't be consistent. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 00:06, November 21, 2011 (UTC)
Maybe Nintendo aren't that inconsistent after all. For all we now, it could be the translators who aren't aware about how the items may or may not connect between the games, and may such name them differently--It's hard to tell. I think that the two incarnations of the two double clawshots can be considered alike enough to make the recurring item criteria, unless we're gonna make it an absolute rule that they have to have the exact same name. --Gaswild (talk) 15:14, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
Creaed by Lanayru?
I found it unusual that the clawshots, mechanical items, we're found in the silent realm, particularly when the Dragon Scale and the Fireshield Earrings appear to be magical. That and they seemed to be connected to their dragons- The scale was obviously Faron's and the Earrings look like they may have been made from a scale of Eldin's or something similar. Then it occurred to me- Lanayru is an inventor, he created the robots and the mining facility, he probably invented then clawshots as well. Maybe it's an obvious thing to say, but prior to this there was a bit of trivia saying the Occoo may have invented the clawshots, it may fit to say Lanayru probably invented the first pair.
