Since the black birds that appear in Phantom Hourglass steal rupees, wouldn't they be considered Takkuri only and not Crows? Does anyone know of an official source naming the birds in PH? --Douken 15:46, 5 February 2008 (EST)

That's what I assumed they were. Not sure why they're called crows here. Give me a second, let me look it up. --Ando 15:47, 5 February 2008 (EST)
Update: Hm. I couldn't find any official sources stating the name of the bird at all. Phantom Hourglass doesn't even have any in-game text saying its name. Most unofficial sources state that the bird's name is "Takkuri". Given what the bird does, I'd say we should move the Phantom Hourglass bird's stuff to Takkuri. Anyone else? --Ando 16:04, 5 February 2008 (EST)
Seems reasonable, there should just be a "see also" section linking to Takkuri, and also maybe Guay. Adam [ talk ] 17:05, 5 February 2008 (EST)

Crow as a boss[]

The link for the boss crow in Color Changing Tingle's Love Balloon Trip goes to this page but there is no info on it. I can cobble together a page if someone can tell me what page the crow is found on in the game. I have a image and everything so all I need is the page. --Heroofstuff 23:18, 10 February 2011 (EST)

We could probably make this a disambig page and then make two pages: Crow (Enemy) and Crow (Boss), sort of like Gyorg. Feel free to start up the article as "Crow (Boss)". :) Dany36 23:24, 10 February 2011 (EST)
Alright I'll see what I can do about that, Later --Heroofstuff 15:00, 11 February 2011 (EST)

Guays and Crow Megre[]

Guays and Crows look and act extreamly simmilar. They have nver been in the same game, and both have an anfinity for ruppes. Crows and Guays act a little diffrent, but Crows have only been in 2D games while Guays have only been in 3D games. Many enemies act very diffrent in 3D games than they do in 2D games (examples: Peahats and Bubbles) and they still have the same basic behavior of swooping down on link from above, so should we merge the two articles? Gopherdude12 (talk) 16:54, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

No.
They are distinct enemies, regardless of how similar they are. There are many enemies in the Zelda series that have similar if not identical behaviors, but they are still considered distinct. - Midoro (T C) 19:20, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

While that is true, Crows and Guays also look the same, make the same noises (as far as I can tell), serve identicle roles, and never been in the same game. Mergeing the two articles wouldn't be messy either, both are relitivly short, and have the same content sans the images and apearencese. Gopherdude12 (talk) 02:20, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

I'd say keep them split. Crows and Guays aren't exactly identical, and they've never reused assets for either. To put it in a real-world perspective, that's the same as lobbing all black birds together because they share the same color of plumage. At best, make note that readers may be looking for Guays and leave it at that. - TonyT S C 02:27, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
