Chuchu

how are these not chuchus?

Well one indication is their name. Chuchus, anyway, originally never looked like their current form, Wind Waker was the one that introduced the new shape of the Chuchu that looks strikingly like a Buzz Blob.--Green 23:05, 9 December 2007 (EST)

Why would the name Buzz Blob contradict the possibility of them being a plant?

Blob doesn't necessarily mean that it is made of a goo. It can also refer to something in the shape of a blob. As such, wouldn't it be better to eliminate that part and just say simply that a theory about them is that they may be more plant than goo? --Icalasari 04:41, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Enemy Template

Ok, we can decide how we want ZW to go forward here, we can have the category repetitions as this page currently has at the foot; use a template for all similar enemies like SlimeEnemy; or both. I prefer the template over the See Also sections, bc it's simpler to update, and consistency would be uniform to all of the articles. User:Axiomist/sig 14:01, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

German Version Controversity

You know, I am from Germany, and thus I have played some Zelda titles in German, including both Link's Awakening and Link's Awakening DX. That said I cannot quite understand why this edit happened. I have seen that bit about the trash-talking enemies with my own eyes, and I vouch that it is indeed accurate. Because of that you should consider restoring it, as it is relevant and valid information. If the only issue is source material, then I'm sure there are ways to get to those. - Edofenrir 23:26, 23 October 2010 (EDT)

It's true. I can confirm that since I too have played the German version. The guy who translated this game is called Claude M. Moyse and he has done stuff like this with other games he translated. The worst part is that most of his translations where he decided to take too much liberties constantly break the fourth wall, like mentioning german TV Shows, soccer clubs or musicians. He translated Secret of Mana and alot of other J-RPGs for the SNES and alot of german gamers don't like him much, literally hate him, for the stuff he did. Here's a video and here's a Wiki Link.
Compared with what other pages list under the Trivia section, I think this one is worth mentioning.Bakeneko 06:26, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Woah, that's some good trivia. I re-added it, but it would nice if you could source some of that extra info. User:Abdullah/sig 12:59, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
