The Tahno O'ah Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Tahno O'ah's Blessing,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Tahno O'ah Shrine is located at the base of the Madorna Mountain on Mount Lanayru. It is the goal of the Shrine Quest, "Secret of the Cedars", but can be accessed without activating the Quest. The Ancient Shrine is set inside a cave that is obstructed by a Cracked Tile wall due east of the three trees atop Madorna Mountain's peaks. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Tahno O'ah, who states that merely being able to enter the Shrine is proof of Link's worth.[2]

Themes and Navigation

Tahno O'ah Shrine features no puzzles, simply a direct path to Tahno O'ah. Along this path is a Treasure Chest containing Climbing Boots. As Link approaches Tahno O'ah, he will give Link a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[3] and will wish Link well before fading away.[4]
