Hyrule Compendium Entry
Steel Lizal Bows are Bows mostly found in the Hebra Mountains and Akkala Highlands, where they are used by Black Lizalfos, Silver Lizalfos, and Golden Lizalfos. Elemental Lizalfos such as Fire-Breath Lizalfos, Ice-Breath Lizalfos, and Electric Lizalfos also use them. The Lizalfos that wield them are known to be expert marksmen.[1] While the metal reinforcements of Steel Lizal Bows increase their durability, they also end up adding weight.[1] They belong to the Lizalfos Gear equipment archetype, a series of Weapons created and utilized by Lizalfos.[2]
Due to their metallic components, Steel Lizal Bows will attract Lightning if they are equipped during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity. They also sink if they are dropped in Water, but they can be picked up and manipulated with the Magnesis Rune. Finally, Steel Lizal Bows will not burn if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate.
Other Appearances[]
