"A kitchen implement often used for serving delicious soups. It was carved from the wood of a study tree, so it actually packs quite the wallop."
Hyrule Compendium

Soup Ladles are items in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They are ladles commonly used for serving soup and can usually be found near certain Cooking pots. Link can equip them and use them as one-handed melee weapons. They have a base attack power of 4, although this may be increased by certain weapon bonuses. Bokoblins may occasionally pick up and wield them as weapons. Due to their connection to cooking, they can be seen as the weapon counterparts to the Pot Lid shields. As they are made of wood, they can be used as a makeshift torch by lighting them on fire, but they will burn up if they stay lit for too long as their durability decreases. They will also burn up in volcanic heat of Death Mountain.

Several locations where one Soup Ladle may be found include:

  • In the enemy camp in the Forest of Time. A Bokoblin wields one along with a Pot Lid.
  • Next to the cooking pot inside the Great Deku Tree in Korok Forest.
  • In the outdoor kitchen in Hateno Village. Uma, who is sitting nearby, will ask Link if he needs it if he picks it up, then promises she will tell the villagers he had taken it.
