Hyrule Compendium Entry
Soldier's Spears are Weapons that were once used by the guards of Hyrule Castle.[1] They are known to be easy to use but difficult to master.[1] Enemies commonly wield these Weapons in Hyrule Field and the Faron Grasslands.
When scanned with the amiibo Rune, the following amiibos have a chance to spawn a Treasure Chest containing a Soldier's Spear.
- The Legend of Zelda series Series Link (Link's Awakening) amiibo
- Breath of the Wild Series Mipha amiibo
As metallic Weapons, Soldier's Spears will attract Lightning during Thunderstorms and conduct Electricity, and they can be picked up using the Magnesis Rune. However, they are unable to be burned by a Fire or Scorching Climate.[1] They will also sink if they are dropped in Water.
Soldier's Spears belong to the Soldier's Gear equipment archetype, which was used in the defense of Hyrule Castle.[3]
