Sleepy Mushroom
This is but one of many types of mushrooms that grow in the fine tropical climate of Koholint Island. Witches use this mushroom as an ingredient for magic powder. Eating this mushroom, or any other, without the advice of an expert is not recommended.

The Sleepy Toadstool is an optional item Link can gather in the Mysterious Woods. If he brings it to Syrup, she will make him some Magic Powder. The Sleepy Toadstool can cause unusual effects when eaten.[2] Tarin, who has a fondness for Mushrooms, had eaten one while at the Mysterious Woods and was transformed into a raccoon.[3] Link uses the Magic Powder to turn him back to normal.
