Skyview Towers are large, Sheikah-styled towers constructed under orders from Purah. When activated, they reveal their respective portion of the map in The Sky and the surface. Unlike Sheikah Towers, they often have small quests that, when completed, allow the towers to be activated.
Activation[]
To activate the towers and to restore the map, the towers must first be enabled by talking to Purah at Lookout Landing. After this is done, Link will be tasked with activating the tower inside Lookout Landing first, which will reveal the Central Hyrule region and sky archipelago. After this, all towers will be activated and made available to you. Most towers have a small quest that must be completed first, however.
When a tower is activated, a Fast Travel point will appear on the platform at the top of the stairs up, and the tower will now glow blue instead of orange. After this, Link must examine the platform in front of the pedestal and arms resembling those of a Guardian will plug the Purah Pad into a long cord and launch Link into the sky. After he reaches the apex of his launch, he will start to scan the surrounding terrain, which will then fill out a portion of the map. After this, the cord will detach and the player will regain control of Link, allowing them to freely skydive to where the player desires.
After towers are activated, Link can be launched into the air again by examining the platform. This is a highly effective way to travel long distances as more stamina containers are gained.
Towers are appended by their respective (x, y, z) coordinates (exact location of travel gate).
