Sheikah Slate Terminals are Objects in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses[]

Sheikah Slate Terminals are pieces of Sheikah Ancient Technology that Link can activate with his Sheikah Slate. They are short pedestals, similar to Sheikah Slate Pedestals, though they are unable to hold the Sheikah Slates.

In the second chamber of the Shrine of Resurrection, Link will find a Sheikah Slate Terminal. The voice of Princess Zelda instructs him to hold up his Sheikah Slate to it in order to reveal his path forward.[2] When Link does so, the Terminal will authenticate and confirm the Sheikah Slate.[3] The door to the Shrine of Resurrection will then open, allowing Link to explore the Great Plateau.

Each Ancient Shrine has a Sheikah Slate Terminal outside of it. When Link activates these Sheikah Slate Terminals, they will confirm his Sheikah Slate.[4] They will add the Shrine's Travel Gate to his Map.[5] Link will also be granted access to the interior of the Shrine.[6] There are Sheikah Slate Terminals at the entrance to Divine Beasts as well, which will also activate a Travel Gate.[5]
