The Shae Loya Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Aim for the Moment,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

Shae Loya Shrine is located on a ridge just south of Tabantha Bridge Stable. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Shae Loya.[2]

Themes and Navigation

Inside Shae Loya Shrine is a stone pillar that pushes a ball upwards before catching it and repeating the pattern. Link must use Stasis to stop the ball while it is in the air and then he must strike it to knock it off of its path into a pit, which in turn activates a second pillar on Link's side of the Shrine, allowing Link access to the ball's side of the Shrine as well as a Switch that can be struck with an Arrow. This releases the portcullis separating Link from Shae Loya. When Link reaches the Monk, Shae Loya will give him a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial.[3] Afterwards, Shae Loya will wish Link well before fading away.[4]

A Treasure Chest rests on a wooden shelf suspended by ropes, which Link must shoot in order to make the Chest fall to floor level. This Treasure Chest contains a Falcon Bow. A second Treasure Chest behind the ball's pillar contains a Topaz.
